Halle, despite it's spelling is pronounced like Hayley; It means hero. Unlike most people, Halle has two middle names -- Cassiel, who was supposedly an archangel, and Saige, which menas wise but is also an herb. Her last name is McKay, which doesn't have much of a meaning. It's just a name.
Nicknames:
Most people just call her Halle. However, it can be easily shortened to Hay. She's open to pretty much anything.

Halle is at the ripe age of seventeen.

Looks:
Halle, being in athletics for the majority of her life, is a somewhat petite girl. She is semi-short, standing at five feet, three inches. She's not the shortest girl out here, but people don't have much trouble towering over her. She is fairly thin, with slim limbs and a trimmed waist. However, her entire body is well-toned with muscularity. She's not the strongest person out there, but has enough to muscle to be considered athletic. Her skin is perfectly tanned to a point that would make the girls from Jersey Shore jealous; She's naturally tan and her skin doesn't come out of a bottle. Her hair is a lovely shade of brown, dark with very minor natural highlights that you only notice in some lights. It falls in elegant waves a few inches below her shoulders. Though the pictures don't show it, Halle's eyes are incredibly unique. They are not deep brown as in the pictures. Well, only one is. She has heterochromia, which means each eye is a different color. One is the color in the pictures, dark brown, and the other is a bright, emerald green.
Personality:
Halle can easily be described as one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. She's openly sweet and friendly. Her mind, on the other hand, can be a much angrier place. She just refuses to show this side of her. She hates the thought of hurting someone's feelings, so she tends to keep her remarks and such to herself. She is far from judgemental and refuses to be cruel if she can help it. The only time you'll see her snap is if you mess with someone she cares about.
It's not hard to Halle to make friends, and she could have easily been one of the annoying, popular cheelreaders in high school. However, she was never a fan of the whole "it girl" thing. She'd much rather keep to a group of friendly outcast than stuck-up, popular bullies. She is a great listener and will be there for you no matter what. She's the type of girl who you can talk to whenever. She'll rush to your side.
Halle's loyalty is undying. Once she pledges herself to a group of people, she's there forever. Sometimes, it can be translated s her being clingy. To a degree, this is true. She hates being alone and will follow you around like a lost puppy as long as you don't get mad about it. She very rarely lashes out and is able to keep quiet, even around her closest friends. She's a little shy at first, but you'll love her once you get to know her.
When need be, Halle is brave and courageous. She's afriad of a few things, but is willing to put all of her fears aside if someone needs her to. Of course, she'd never do any of these things for herself. Her compassionate nature and unyeilding need to help others is what drives her to face her fears. She's also fairly protective. The only time you'll ever hear her raise her voice is if you deserve it for picking on one of her friends. It's hard to make an enemy out of her, but if you want to, that's how you would do it.

Halle grew up with her older brother, Sam, who was two years older than her. The two have been close since she was born. They didn't come from a noteable wealthy family, but it was good enough to keep the children happy. They learned the value of the dollar at young age and stopped asking for selfish things when they were nine or ten. they had a good relationship with their parents, Halle growing especially close to her father, who taught her how to swim. Her father gave her her first camera and was the inspiration for many of her hobbies.
When Halle was ten, her parents had another child -- her little brother, Max. Then, when she was twelve, her parents were in a horrible hit-and-run car accident. Since then, the three siblings banned together and grew incredibly close. They were put into the foster system and refused to stay in a home where they couldn't be with each other. Now, Sam is nineteen. He's out of the system and lives in an apartment. He gained legal guardianship over Halle and Max and the three moved in together.
When Hlle recieved her letter, she was shaky on accepting the offer. Of course, she wanted to go. However, she had a hard time leaving her brothers. Upon having a talk with Sam, the two determined that it was what she wanted and probably the best thing for her at the time. And that, my friends, is the story of our lovely Halle McKay.

Halle is fond of many things. First off, she has a passion for photography. She's loved it for as long as she can remember. She's always got a camera with her and has filled up at least five flashdrives with her photos. She is also a somewhat sporty girl. She got her job as a lifeguard because of her love of the water. Halle's been swimming all her life and is quite good at it. In fact, she used to do it competitively. On top of that, Halle loves to dance. She's not great at it, but she likes it so... yeah.
Along with everything above, Halle likes the basics -- music, friends, life, and so on. Her favorite color is orange. Her favorite animal is a cheetah. She likes parties, but also has a passion for a good book. When it comes down to it, she can be fairly complex.
Dislikes:
For starters, Halle isn't huge fan of bugs. She had a traumatic experience as a child and just can't deal with anything that has more than four legs. As stated above, she is an excellent swimmer. However, she doesn't like being up high. Airplanes are her enemy. Halle is easily frustrated and doesn't like doing things she isn't good at including: drawing, painting, singing, and so on. She doesn't like bad people. Her definition of a bad person is someone who lies, cheats, or willingly stabs people in the back. She hates it when people are two-faced and fake friends to people. She hates the very thought of bullying, considering the fact that it happened to her as a child, and she doesn't like people who are immature. She's above that.
