Khayle walked along the beach, his feet getting wet from the waves and he was leaving behind a trail of footprints.

Olive walked along the beach and sighed. She wished she had worn better shoes as the sand was sticking to her feet.She had worn a pair of gold gladiator sandals, a green maxi dress and a denim jacket. She wore her flaming red hair in the usual side braid she wore so often.So many memories flooded her mind. She smiled softly to herself, she was happy to be back and to get to see old friends. College in NYC was hard for her but she could manage. Olive noticed footprints in the sand and followed them until she saw khayle in the distance."Hey!" she called and waved as she walked towards him feeling slightly shy and nervous. She hadn't seen her friends in a while.

Deciding I would hangout at the beach though I wasn't really dressed for the beach. Adjusting my glasses I looked up at the sky with a smile. The sun was shining brightly and I felt like I was going to melt. Maybe next time I would wear some shorts and a tanktop, instead of jeans and a hoodie. I decided I would just lay in the sand. Why not? its not like I really craed about the way I looked. Laying in the warm sand I decided to stare at the nice blue sky some more. I heard someone shout in the distance but didn't bother to even look.

Blair sat on the beach, her chin resting gently on her bare knees. On her body she adorned a red, white, and blue bikini. On the back where her straps met to tie, a gold Olympic ring charm dangled from the blue string. It had been her dream to run in the Olympics, and now it was all over with. This had been her chance, her only chance, to make her family proud of her.

Getting back with her friends had been a good idea, right up until she had pulled into the lot. Now she sat here, alone, on this dismal beach, wishing she had the right to tell everyone how happy she was. In truth, she hadn't even seen her friend's yet. Yeah, she could see Khayle off in the distance, walking along these soft sands, but it wasn't worth getting up.

Tracing her fingers through the sand, the dirty blond haired girl wished she could talk to him. They hadn't spoke in...years. Now she was here, and so was he, but, how would she start the conversation? Hey! I haven't seen you in, what, two years? I'm fine, just totally bombed my chances to go to the Olympics, but hey, try again in four years right? That was a brilliant idea. Just bloody brilliant.

They'd decided to meet back up on the beach, the friends who Finn hadn't seen in so long, and really he didn't know what to expect. They hadn't been away from each other for ages but being away at college and stuff seemed to change people. He wondered if art school had changed him. Probably not - inside he still felt kind of goofy and jovial, something that those serious art schoolers seemed to lack in abundance. He wasn't, however, covered in paint or glue as usual, and he'd made an effort to dress for the beach (although that kind of style really didn't fit into his everyday wardrobe). Mainly he just hoped everything wouldn't be awkward. He'd come home for the familiar, the comfortable, and if he couldn't find that in his old friends, where could he?

But where was everyone? They should have been more specific in their meeting location. The beach? But it was huge! Suddenly he heard a 'Hey!'. Swivelling round he grinned as he saw Olive and Khayle walking towards each other and, not too far away, Annmarie lying in the sand and Blair sitting nearby looking... well it was hard to tell how she was feeling but he'd heard her track efforts hadn't gone quite to plan. 'Hey guys,' he said, attempting casual but fighting the hugest smile off his face, 'Long time no see!'
