He finishes changing to leave from his shift at the cafe, but stops seeing three of his friends sitting at one of the tables. He shifts his bag to the other shoulder. "Hey, whats going on?" he looks from one to the other seeing the napkin on the table. 'Something has to be wrong.' he thinks.

"well kinda... He was abusing my aunt so i stepped in..."

"Report him to the police" i say ripping my eyes away from the ocean and looking at his bloody face ((start in the coffee shop))

((nevermind)) "Cody!" i say. I saw the worry in his eyes. "i know what your thinking" "Yes something is wrong and you ready for the dark days?" i ask slightly interested

'dark days..' he thinks then remembers what she's talking about. "Um .. I'm still trying not to think about that as much as possible, ..but did I hear that right? Maby you should, report it, I mean thay have to take those kinda things serious."

"i dont have anywhere else to go. So i cant. And who would believe me in court? He's good friends with the sheriff and the judge. He hasnt connections so..." he sighed.

He frouns trying to remember how it worked when there were conflicts like that. "Thay would just have to try it somewhere else and no one with connections to him would be able to be a part of the investigation.. I think thats how it works." He looks over at the one who he had heard was headed to harverd hoping that she would know more about it.
