I closed my eyes, exhausted from my long day. I thought about Caden and slowly, sloowly, drifted to sleep.

Caden finished his shower, and got dressed, in a pair of sweat pants and a black tee. He brushed his teeth, took 4 head ache pills, for his soon to arrive head ache, and made his way downstairs, silently.

I heard a noise and rolled over, only to roll off of the couch. "Ow," I huff, and just lay there for a second, waking up.

Anthony raised a brow, " i just, don't want to keep in touch with them." He said, simply, taking a sip of his beverage.

Elena blinked. "Why not...?" She asked softy.

Caden walked over, and helped her up, " i'm sorry i woke you." He smiled, that dashing smile of his. He smelled clean, looked fine, even the glaze in his eye was gone. he cleaned up perfectly. Meds helped a little.


" i just don't." Anthony said, taking another sip, " it's a long story."

Elena looked at him. "Ok then.." she said and took a sip of her cook, enjoying the tast of the strong liquid.

Anthony shrugged, and looked out the window, for no apparent reason.

Elene titled her head slightly and quietly watched the boy, smiling softly as she did.

Anthony had a tendancy not to smile, though, not many people noticed.

Elena blinked and thought back to some of the perivoius, trying to remember if she'd ever seen the boy smile. She finally concluded that she hadn't and looked at him. "You don;t smile much.." she said quietly
