Vivienne G. Wells
English|Parter: Freddie|19|Bisexual
"That all depends on where you're looking." Vivienne replied with a smile, turning her attention to the blond girl she'd seen earlier. She held out a slender had to her, snickering at the girl's comment about Freddie. She couldn't help but take a moment to admire them, both appealing in their own ways despite the blatant cockiness that radiated from her partner. The pair of them seemed to co-align with one another with ease, matching each other in personality. "Hello Coraline, pleasure to make your acquaintance. Most call me 'Viv'.. But those with a death wish prefer 'Vivi.'" She wrinkled her nose at the nickname her twin sister had always favoured. Other English students clumped together around them, chattering excitedly at their partners or to one another. She smiled at the thought, once more reminding herself that she was in America. "I just love your accents," the brunette added, voicing her thoughts. "A nice change from the high and nasally jabber of my female classmates," she made a face before laughing. Her accent was light and thin, mostly influenced by her home in Essex.

Bryan wasn't so sure this had been a good idea. Oh, the traveling in general was a marvelous idea, but agreeing to stay with some American stranger for a week? Chloe through the internet had seemed nice enough he supposed but a little... perky. Friendly, but had she been too friendly? The girls he knew just seemed so.. different. Sure, he didn't personally know every girl in school, but the ones he typically associated with were confident, composed, flirty. He supposed they had worries and desires, but they kept it all hidden nicely.

Americans were sometimes just so bloody casual and forward with things. Perhaps it was that he'd been raised by his father's somewhat blue blooded family, but Bryan had expectations and he didn't even realise or acknowledge. But hey, that's what this was all about - breaking free, exploring. He was up for something new.

It'd been strange, flying all the way over the Atlantic. He'd once been to Australia, but aside from that all his traveling had been within western Europe, primarily Italy, France, Austria, and Germany. Oh, and that brief stop in Belgium last year. All of those seemed a reasonable distance that it seemed so impossibly FAR to the United States and he was glad when the plane finally touched down.

It was quite the affair to get everyone rounded up, the bags all acquired and sorted respectively, and then the lot loaded up to be carted closer to their destinations. As he stepped back out onto solid ground again, he saw a group of students not unlike himself, presumably the American bunch, and stood expectantly. He wasn't really the sort to bumble about seeking his partner; she sounded like she would find him soon enough.

[It appears emails were exchanged so to Chloe's player - hopefully you can get a bit of a feel for Bryan from his profile and this post and wing it from there.]

((Just a note everyone, some things, namely characters, have changed, so you might want to once again look over the front page just to make sure you're up to date c:))

    Freddie J. Miller
"Coraline, I only spoke good of you, and yet you insist on being cruel," said Freddie, with a mock frown and pout. It soon gave way to a grin. "Well, if you find yourselves looking around this wonderful place I am sure your eyes will be satisfied," he said. "A death wish, you say..." said Freddie, pondering, an eyebrow raised. "Well I personally like the name, however I suppose I must try to keep the peace," he said, as if the very idea of not calling her Vivi was a tragedy. "And the very same to you, my dear," said Freddie, putting on his best English accents with a posh little smirk. He laughed at his own ridiculousness and then said, "Well you'll just love it in New York, the whole place is brimming with accents like these," he said, returning to his usual speech once again. His voice was rather typical of new York, a mish-mash of the state's dialects and hints of others, yet it was low and warm, almost as if he were speaking with a sensual growl. It seemed to work as far as getting the ladies was concerned.
He turned away from his partner for a moment, leaving her in Cora's capabale hands and turned to the two newcomers, Ella, or Peggy as she was more commonly known, and Elizabeth. "Well hello ladies," he said, his lopsided smile spreading over his face. he aminly directed the flirt to Elizabeth, who was undeniably the prettier of the two, at least in Freddie's mind - he'd never really had a thing for red-heads. "It's rather lovely to meet you too," said Freddie. Despite the fact that Vivieene had just been presented to him, a perfectly appealing woman, old habits died hard and Freddie couldn't help but try his luck and charm the other woman. He paid Peggy no heed, she was, after-all, a fairly plain looking auburn-haired girl, not Freddie's cup of tea at all.

    Ella Jean Peggy
Peggy ahd waved back to Coraline and has since walked over to them, dragging her suitcase behind her and holding both her stachel and her guitar case on her shoulders. She laughed as Freddie introduced himself with a salacious grin. She knew his type so she shook her head, actually shaking slightly from her giggles. He looked at her, affronted. She merely shurgged, wiping away her small tears. "I didn't know there were actually people that flirtatious!" she said, ending her hysterics with a final chuckle. In England there were of course flirts, but none quite like Freddie. He was adept. "Be careful Elizabeth, he might lure you in," she said with a grin, and then turned to Coraline, "It's nice to meet you finally," she said, smiling at her partner. Coraline looked exactly as she had in the photgraph. Blonde, beautiful, stylish. Ella felt a little ragged in comparison. The lanky girl stood here in her skinny navy jeans, converses that used to be white and grey sweater with her auburn hair loose and tangled. She suddenly felt underdressed, but for some reason it didn't exactly btoher her. She didn't feel insignificant, she didn't feel shy. She was able to be herself here, with these new people. She smiled a genuine smile and then said, "So, what's the plan of action?"

➧ Elizabeth Stevenson - Female - British - Eighteen - Wants to be a scientist.

Elizabeth stared at the American with unreadable eyes for a few moments but then rolling her eyes she finally showed a bit of amusement to his flirtatious nature and finally gave a smile, making her eyes sparkle slightly.

" So.. you must be Freddie? Am I correct?" she intrigued whilst taking her hair behind her back. She couldn't deny she was feeling a little awkward with his charming smiles and attractiveness but she was adamant that she would be a hard one to get but gazing to his face for perhaps a longer than intended she then drifted her eyes quickly to the girl stood next to her and laughed at her words when she spoke, sending a bit of pink to flush her white skin when she had taken it all in. Be careful Elizabeth, he might lure you in, she had said and leaning slightly closer to her fellow British friend she smiled fully and said in a low voice " I very much doubt that will happen. I am immune to people like him." Flashing one bright smile to the boy to say that she did not mean it offensively she then regained her proper posture and waited for things to unravel. She wasn't exactly sure what to do now... where they going to go to classes... or maybe get introduced to their proper exchange partners? She had no clue but she was finally starting to feel a little more relaxed and perhaps.. perhaps that what a good thing.

Vivi? Cute. Cora's whole impression of the girl could probably be wrapped up in that little word, even as she shook hands with her. She smiled at the remark about her and Freddie's accents and fiddled a little with the necklace she had on. As always, Miss Ashwood was dressed to impress in ripped skinny jeans, a blue gradient tunic, black leather jacket and black tall boots. She would have worn a dress, but the weather still didn't allow revealing legs, so Caroline compensated with a matching feather earring and necklace set. Her hair was in her usual style, golden curls resting lightly on her shoulders, but she had chosen a pale pink lipstick for once instead of her everyday striking color.
Cora's own accent could be described as clear. She herself didn't know where it came from, but it wasn't as thick as most people's, maybe a little easier to understand thanks to that. As for her voice, it was fairly low for a woman, a little throaty. It could make her sound practically dangerous at times, but also managed to work pretty well for teasing or leaving an impression.
When Freddie turned away from Vivienne to talk to Elizabeth, who was definitely looking more and more flustered as he used his typical flirting routine, Coraline finally had a chance to properly look at her own exchange partner. Peggy seemed...sweet? That should be the right word to describe her, with her laughing fit at Freddie when he decided to be sleazy towards her and her friend plus her slightly silly outfit. She didn't look bad, just a little childish. The American herself grinned at Elizabeth's comment about being immune to her friend's charm, since it was oh so visibly untrue. If the girl wanted to convince anyone of that sort of thing, she should stop blushing after only two sentences from a guy. "It's lovely to meet you too, Ella." Cora replied automatically, a delicate smile already gracing her features as she spoke. At the next question, she looked over at Viv, who had been excluded from the conversation after Freddie found himself another person to annoy, and winked to the girl. "I think there's supposed to be some kind of welcome dinner and then a bunch of socializing to be done, but the second we get a moment of peace, we'll all have to leave a bit of time for finding the perfect outfit for the pyjama party Freddie has planned for us all. I mean, I'm pretty sure he'll have a measuring tape on hand to make sure nobody oversteps the maximum amount of material they can have on, so there's probably a lot of work to be done. Isn't that right, Fred?" A sweet smile on her face, Coraline turned to the boy standing near her, eyes open innocently, waiting for an answer.

Kitiara quietly poked about, searching for Disaster. She was flustered, excited, and curious, among other things. Her pale-as-the-moon face was alight with wonder as she peered eagerly through the crowd, searching for her exchange partner and potential new friend. She would definitely need those. As her oceanic eyes searched through the claustrophobia-inducing group of students, her eyes caught on to a girl that seemed polite, and currently a bit far-off. She shrugged her shoulders, going to the girl with an 'oh, why not?' attitude.
"Excuse me, ahm, have you seen a Disaster Aisling anywhere near here?" Kitty asked softly, tucking a chocolate curl behind her ear. Her face was reddening already, simply from sounding so lost. You can berate yourself later, Kitty. she told herself before managing a small, welcoming smile. Oh, how clueless she was.

Vivienne G. Wells|19|Bi-sexual|Partner: Freddie|wearing

"Sorry darling, only one person has earned the right to call me that and she is long gone from this world," Vivienne replied with shrug. A small smile adorned her crimson lips, once more, as he turned the conversation over to accents. "I certainly hope so," she laughed, running a hand through her hair, suddenly losing her train of thought. The Brit gave a brief roll of the eyes as her partner flitted away to flirt with her classmates. "Definitely Danny.." She muttered under her breath with a chuckle, turning her attention to a scuff on one of her heels. She could admit that she'd overdone it in comparison to the others, in a black form-fitting tank top and a fitted mini skirt with folded peplum detail from waist, paired with black and red ankle boots adorned with tiny red bows. A bit girly, but she liked the tip of the hat toward the 50s and 40s in its style. A lace choker with a cameo of a fairy rested at her throat and a long black tailored coat over her shoulders.
Green irises flickered up the Cora as she spoke, "certainly, I'm sure anything I brought would barely fall under those standards." She laughed, thinking back to the small bit of clothes she'd brought with her. "Is he like this all of the time?" She asked, tilting her head in inquiry, before glancing at her partner. The two girls he occupied were currently matching shades of scarlet, but pretending as if not to be effected. This caused her to smirk slightly, given, she couldn't deny that he did have a certain charm to him. But the cocky attitude became a bore after a while.

tyler post five || chloe post two

Postby sunday; » Sun May 19, 2013 11:15 pm

      tyler troye west ;; seventeen
he sighed, reluctant to tell emanuel what 'was wrong'. "but em.. you're always popular; you're outgoing and everything.." tyler mumbled, pouting ever so slightly. "so why should america be any different?" his question was rhetorical, indeed, but he still wanted an answer - kinda "you can go around yelling for them, if you wanna meet them.." he suggested quietly. "i- is it really that obvious..?" tyler mumbled, referring to how emanuel knew he was upset. "and yeah, skylar's a guy?" he added, frowning slightly.
tyler was wondering now if he was too easy to read - like, was it emanuel's friendship with him that indicated the little quirks and personality traits, or was it just.. blatant "tyler is upset"? he shrugged it off rather literally, shaking like a dog would after surfacing from water. then he gulped nervously and stared at his feet, getting his phone out and trying to look... different? interesting? up to date? someone he wasn't, basically. ty' let his grip on emanuel cease, and he tucked his phone back away, glancing up at the two crowds - half american, half english. he compared it to a sort of war scene, or a game of football, or rugby, or whatever. "i don't wanna do any of those.." he whimpered, cowering a bit as his thoughts came into reality. and, no, tyler wasn't being schizophrenic - but everyone had their moments, didn't they? and tyler counted into the mass as "everyone", right?

      chloe rose davids ;; eighteen
chloe beamed, still ecstatic. "stranger, don't walk up to me, i swear if you do.." she grumbled, anxiety growing in the pit of her stomach. she adjusted her sunglasses so they were perched on the top of her head and she tried to pick out bryan. after all, it couldn't be that hard to find one person in about.. ten, was it? she trailed a bit further, so they were in her field of vision rather perfectly. taking a scrap piece of paper from her pocket - with nothing on it - she read the sheet, chiming, "could a.. bryan hawthorne please step forward?" it was either that, or she ask every boy present if their name was "bryan hawthorne" and/or where "bryan hawthorne" was. she leaned more on her right foot than her left foot - it was her "dominant" foot as the sport teachers told her - and tapped her left impatiently as she folded the paper in half neatly and tucked it in her pocket again, looking up at the crowd with raised eyebrows. "i repeat, could a bryan hawthorne please step forward? i don't really want to walk about like a loner now, and you can't really walk as a pack, brits. so.. that's all."

i've been neglecting chloe, haven't i?
i hope that's an okay post c:
