After a couple of minutes she had pulled up at the centre, she could see one of the helpers bringing down Benji to take home.
In the car, on the journey home, Jessica undid the window for Benji in the backseat. He sat still, content, head slightly out of the window.
When they pulled up at Jessica's home, Benji started to fidget with excitement. She grabbed the red lead off of the passenger seat and got out of the car. Walking round to the back of the car, she opened the door and blocked the escape route, slipped the lead onto his collar. Benji jumped down out of the backseat and sat obediently at Jessica's feet.
