Jessica smiled, it was time to bring home her new dog, Benji. She had driven a couple of miles up the road to the local shelter to collect him, and she was really excited. She had picked him among the mass of other dogs at the shelter, and she hoped that they would become best friends. Benji had come right up the fence on his cage and wagged his tail at her, she had fallen in love at first sight. After a couple of minutes she had pulled up at the centre, she could see one of the helpers bringing down Benji to take home.
In the car, on the journey home, Jessica undid the window for Benji in the backseat. He sat still, content, head slightly out of the window.

When they pulled up at Jessica's home, Benji started to fidget with excitement. She grabbed the red lead off of the passenger seat and got out of the car. Walking round to the back of the car, she opened the door and blocked the escape route, slipped the lead onto his collar. Benji jumped down out of the backseat and sat obediently at Jessica's feet.

"Come on then Zeus!" Johnny shouted. This week was going to be a break. A break from fame, a break from acting, a break from everything. He even changed his last name from Depp to Blaine. After breaking up with his Girlfriend, he thought he would come here to...relax and forget. And he got Zeus to help fill that gap in his heart.

Jess praised the border collie sat at her feet and rubbed his head gently. She brought him up, so he was standing and walked forwards, Benji following behind her. She called his name, and his ears pricked up and he quickened his pace to keep up with her. Jessica opened the gate of her house and walked inside. "Benji!" He turned around and face her, "Sit!" He did as he was told, and was rewarded with a small boned shaped treat from Jessica's pocket. She unclipped the lead and told him to wait. He backed away and grabbed a stick from under the tree by the fence. "Ready? Go get it!" She threw the stick across her garden and watched him happily chase after it. Tail wagging, ears pricked, listening for any commands from Jess.

"Walkies! Go get your Collar!" Johnny commanded Zeus. He didn't usually keep his dogs collar on in the house, as it usually irritated him, obediently Zeus returned to Johnny's feet with his collar. He buckled it on, the metal phone number and microchip number plates jangling against each other. "Zeus, go get your lead!" Zeus, galloped into the kitchen of the large house, pulled a rope attached to a drawer knob, and grabbed the thick red lead in his mouth, then using his paws, shut the drawer and returned back to Johnny. He clipped the lead on, and stepped outside. "Dog Park It is!" Zeus heeled next to his master, not pulling, nor needing to be pulled, he often pricked his ears up at the sight of a dog, cat or another person, but other than that, stayed completely neutral. When they arrived at the dog park, not many dogs were there. He unclipped the lead and threw a large tennis ball for Zeus, which he returned and played the very traditional "fetch" game.

A few more dogs entered the park, and every now and then, Zeus would go and greet them but then come back to Johnny within a few seconds. Johnny walked over to a grassy bank, near the water and sat down, looking at the boats across the water. He was happy he had chosen this place to come, it was a fairly quiet place and no one had spotted him yet, always a good thing.
