Jack nodded "I see." He said simply enough. "Well. I t is nice to meet you." He told her. Jack had always lived in Cairo. Since he was around seven or eight. It was where his family was now. He had come to the states on his own to get away from everything back home. "What about the two of you?" he asked "How long have you lived here?" He asked.

"My whole life," I answered him with a smile. As much as I hated this little town, I couldn't help but think of the good things that had happened here did far. I turned to Scar, wondering how long she'd lived here.

Dean took notice of the new student that was most determinately not from the states. He watched him with cold eyes. He wasn't the kind who took well to new students though that partly came from being a jock. He said nothing as he watched them.


Sammy hung up before the phone rang and looked at the girl on the bike. "Yeah. Who are you?" He asked just as sharp and guarded. He looked back to Bones who was beginning to act frantic and bark in front of the house. He dismissed the woman and called dean back to try and find out anything before breaking in to see if everything was alright.

Jack could feel someone's Icy stare on him. "And the one watching me with a look to kill?" He asked simply without turning around. "Why might he be?" He asked. He knew that look well. He had given it to many back home. It seemed that this was his school and he was the top dog, so to speak. Most likely a high up athlete.

I rolled my eyes at Dean. "That's just Dean," I said under my breath as I walked over to him. "Dude, chill out," I said with a laugh. Jack was right, he did have looks to kill. "Jealous much?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, glancing back to Jack and Scar.

Dean looked at Hadley when she came over. "What reason do I have to be jealous?" He asked her simply. "I just don't take to new students. Haven't you noticed that most of the sports teams are that way?" He asked. Not just them either. True Football was the roughest but most of the other team were the same. It was their school. He didn't mind the guy so much but. "The one he just slammed with that ball is the line backer for the team and we have a game tonight. So I'm not to thrilled with him yet." He said simply.

He did have a point, he had slammed that line backer good. "Well, maybe you're jealous that he's over there with Scarlet?" I asked with a small smile. I wanted to know if he really liked her, and I could get it out sooner or later.

Dean raised an eye brow "What reason do I have to be jealous of that?" he asked simply. True dean had kissed Scarlet the night before and they had exchanged the problems in their lives. Was that reason to be jealous? Even if he was he would never admit it. He heard his cell ring. "Sammy what's wrong?" He asked. He only got calls from Sam if something happened. "Alright alright. slow down. What's the number on the house. Ok what street." He swallowed a bit hard at the information he was given. "Isn't Scarlet's sister home sick today?" He asked Hadley. He knew the house number was to Scarlet's place since he had stopped by the night before.

I shrugged, laughing quietly for a second. I opened my mouth to say something, but then Dean took a call for Sam. I was worried for the boy, and hoped he was alright. "Isn't Scarlet's sister home sick today?" Dean asked me, and I nodded, speechless. "Oh my Lord, is she okay?" I asked, not minding that he was on the phone.

I smiled politely, "Thank you," I said, for the thousandth time that day. I stood up, and quickly apologized for basically ignoring him, whoever he was. "I was just, lost in thought, that's all." I smiled weakly, pushing a few worried thoughts away. "I'm Scarlet, by the way." I said, the weak smile finding it's way to my face once more. I was worried sick, but I tried to ignore the feeling I had gotten, in the pit of my stomach, and tried to focus on something else, so I looked to the floor, examining my sneakers. They where old, and had been worn too many times, but they distracted me, at least.
