ooc: Ugh, dogs may be seriously ill. Have no motivation to type! This post may be disorienting.
bic: His words may not have been the smartest choice, but they often weren't. August often talked himself into a very deep hole. He just wasn't the type to let others push him around, whatever the costs. The knightly garbed man drew his sword after an indignant -and shocked- look took hold of his face. "I am no one's dog!" Was he seriously considering playing swordsman on the back of that gittery horse? August wasn't planning on it, and the previous farm animal was as stable as a boulder. "If it barks like a dog and smells like-" He pulled hard to the left on the horse's rope, turning the grey beast sharply as the sword swung at his head. A total loose cannon, this guard wasn't fit to protect anyone. Not that August was any better...
The grey stallion started off at thundering gallop, thundering more from sheer weight than speed. This was no swift foot, that was for sure. And, of course, the horse that came thundering after was light on its feet. A few of the now bewildered men followed short behind, but most of the seasoned officers just rolled their eyes and kept at their previous pace. "Move out of the way!" August shouted, watching people ahead of him on the road scatter like ants before a flame.
ooc: WAIT! Do you want August to run into her (not literally, as being slammed into by a horse probably isn't good) or be hiding and find her?
"Gus, don't be a rabid porcupine."
