Jacob bite his lip, so he wouldn't beat up her dad. He walked outside and smirked "You can go to jail, if someone calls the cops."

The man laughed evilly at the boys comment. "Oh and you're the one going to put me there? Pathetic little boy." he growls before getting into the drivers seat of the car. Avril looked down and brought out her phone. I'm sorry I'll try to see you tomorrow.... she texted Jacob before glueing her eyes to the floor.

Jacob~
Jacob sighed and watched Avril's dad drive away. He felt his phone vibrate. He read the text and sighed. He started walking home.

Avril ran up to her room as soon as she got home. She called Jacob up quickly, hearing his phone ring.

Jacob just got into his room when his rang. He quickly answered "hello?" He asked while sitting on his bed.

"Hey I'm coming over, please wait for me." Avril told him and grabbed her skateboard. She leaped out her window and landed on her feet on the cold, night's ground. She quickly sped down the road to his house.

Jacob smiled "o-ok." He waited for Avril.

Soon Avril arrived at Jacob's house, slipping her phone into her pocket. She glanced down at her red wrists and her red cheek from being smacked against the door. Avril flashed him a small smile. "Sorry that we got cut off earliar. My step dad can be.....you know."

Jacob looked at Avril and smiled back "Its ok."

"Mind if I camp out in your tree until school tomorrow?" she asked him curiously, hopeing to get away for the night. Her nose crinkled up a bit as she looked at him.
