{ seventeen years } { the certified agony aunt }

sunset skies and chocolate
Like the next person, Addy has always had an intense love for chocolate. However, she
unfortunately hasn't turned out as one of those people who can eat and eat and never get
fat (and she's a little self-conscious about her image as it is) so she only really eats
chocolate at special occasions. Also, as mentioned before Addy has an intense love for
art. Sketching is her favourite though she'd happily try painting or drawing. Her favourite
season is fall, her lucky number is 600, her favourite colour is silver and she's most at home
in the woods with a sketchpad, a can of cola and a huge bar of chocolate.

rain, jocks and broken pencils

Addy has always had a weak spot when it's come to falling in love as it happens to come
around with just about anybody. She's had hundreds of school-girl crushes that have never
ended up going anywhere, and most of then tended to be on the popular jocks in the school
hierarchy. For some reason, now that she's grown up (a bit) she has something against all jocks.
Addy has also never liked rain - it messes up you hair, your clothes and your drawings and it's
always been hard for her to draw.

the artist's life for me

Addy isn't a particularly ambitious person, but as mentioned before
she wouldn't decline the job of an artist or designer were it offered to her in the
future. She helps out part time at her local dressmaker's shop, taking part in
stitching and suchlike, and a little shop of her own would be just fine as a future
career.

bovinophobia .. bet you haven't 'herd' that one before

Addy suffers from a rather unusual condition that is known as
Bovinophobia: fear of cows. Laugh all you like - she's heard all the jokes - but if
she does come across one of these creatures she loses the ability to move or
speak and just sort of .. freezes. She's absolutely terrified of them, even calves.

a scotsman to the core

addy grew up a fairly relaxed christian life and could barely be described
as one. she only really prays if it is on behalf of a friend in need or if she is going through a
particularly tough time in her life and while she does have a belief in there being a god of
some form, she rarely goes to church. she has an older sister named leah who still lives in
scotland with her husband, and her parents are also still living in scotland.
mad-el-eyne cheh-ree stew-art

Madelaine Cherry Stuart, or 'Addy' as she prefers to be known. Her first name was thought over for around six or so days after her birth whereas her second name was decided almost immediately: Cherry. Her mother had intense cravings for cherries while she was carrying Addy and still uses the pet name for her despite her daughter's pleas for her to stop. Her surname is simply her surname and she's perfectly happy with it remaining as it is.

blue eyes, brown hair

Addy inherited her lovely blue eyes from her mother and they have been as they are since birth. They could be described as her most attractive feature: luscious pools of silver, crystalline blue rimmed with a disk of darker teal and cobalt. She usually piles on eyeliner to make them stand out even more. Her brown hair is from her father, though she was born as a blonde and it changed over time. It falls down to just about the bottom of her shoulder blades but is usually scraped back into a fierce ponytail: far more practical. Addy stands at about 5ft 4" and has always though this is a little short for her age but never really mentions it. She does, however, make up for it by wearing large heels that usually boost her up to around 5ft 7". Her skin is the kind that is aggravatingly impossible to tan despite hours on a beach or in a tanning bed, and is almost permanently pale white.

kind, perfectionist, artist

Addy is pretty much your typical agony aunt. She's the one you go to with your problems, the one you cry your eyes out on the shoulder of and the one who's there to give you a hug. Addy's a naturally selfless person - a typical Virgo, to be honest - and doesn't really mind it, but she does wish sometimes that there was someone there to listen to her fears and comfort her when she needs it.
Addy has a very strong passion for art due to her good attention to detail. She's one of those people who can notice if someone has tied their shoelaces with a double-knot instead of a single or will notice if they've done up one more button on their shirt than they usually do, but won't actually be able to tell you what colour the shirt was or what the person had been talking about. She is very set on having a strict routine on which she does things and hates for it to be corrupted in any way or simply for a tiny thing to be re-arranged. However, Addy is a very indecisive person and hates to be the one left up to making a decision. She'll usually shift the limelight over to someone else if the situation requires a leading figure and hates being pressured - she can't think straight and panics easily. Addy is easily discouraged when a plan or drawing or joke goes wrong and could be described as a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to her work.

((Okay, everyone's been added to the front page so far. Once we've got someone for the last slot that's when I'll start pressing about forms. They don't need to be huge essays, just as long as the basics are down then that should be fine, after all this is about roleplay and storyline not in-depth forms c:))

------ 'Sup, my name's Jayson, but you may call me Jake or Jay.
At the moment, I am eighteen years old, and I was born on the second of September, so at school I was one of the oldest in my year. So, as you can tell, my full name is Jayson Adrian Hill. My friends call me Jake or Jay, so go ahead, you don't have to ask for permission to call me my nickname. My mum called me Adrian after my grandad who died before I was born, but even though I've never met him, it's nice to of inherited his name. As for my last name, I took up my mum's maiden name because she was never married, but her boyfriend Darren - who is also my real dad - has already asked me what I would think of him proposing to her, and I agreed to take on his last name when he eventually does. Oh, and I have a twin brother, Oliver Xavier Hill. He's my best friend, we do almost everything together.
Anyway, I grew up in Northern England, near the Scottish border, then moved to Newcastle when I was nine, hence my slightly northern english accent. We all moved to America when I was sixteen, which was a huge change in my life, but so far it's been amazing and we get to visit our friends and family every summer. My parents may not be the richest in the world, but we get by.
In short, I'm an eighteen year old male, and you can call me Jay.

------ Right, I am not a vain guy, I couldn't care less to how I look. When I wake up in the morning I throw on a clean shirt, pair of jeans and brush my hair then I'm good to go. My mum thinks it's disgusting, but I'm hygenic! Seriously. Just because my room isnt very tidy doesn't mean I don't wash, which is apparently what my mother thinks.
Well, I am average height, about 5'11'' and I don't weigh that much, about 150 pounds or so, but it's all muscle! Only joking. I'm skinny, but not very muscular. I have faint muscles on my torso, but more defined ones in my arms, and that's all because of my horse, Shade. He's pretty strong, so I guess you can say I've adapted to him.
I have brown hair. It's quite dull and very thick, but very easy to look after - my hair isn't exactly one of my best features but it's better than nothing. On the bright side, I have very nice eyes, even if I do say so myself. They are icy blue with hints of green in my left eye and dashes of darker blue in the right, so pretty unique. Also, I'm supposed to wear glasses but the huge chunky pair I have hurt my nose, so I hate wearing them. Luckily, I'm not totally blind without them, so I only have them on for reading. I have mostly straight teeth that are quite white from a lot of brushing. After I got my braces I usually forgot to wear my retainer, so my teeth moved a bit and aren't perfectly straight. Aside from that, I mostly have well proportioned features, and I don't have any body modifications or scars or anything along the lines of that.
I'm not exactly the hottest guy, but I have had quite a few girlfriends in the past, so I'm good.

------ Well, not much really. I was born on the second of September on a lovely, raining day in a hospital somewhere in Northern England. I had a pretty average birth, nothing went wrong, the family came to see me and my twin, Oliver, afterwards and such. After that, I had a normal childhood. I grew up in a two storey house in a community where everyone was very close, so Oliver and I had a lot of friends at school who lived very close to me. We lived in the countryside as well, so I had the chance to have quite a few pets. When I was about five I had a rabbit called Jeff, who sadly died when I was about ten, after we had moved to Newcastle. Me and Oliver also owned a shetland pony who we used to ride in little competitons and ride around in the back garden. Luckily we had a large house, so he had plenty of room to keep him in a stable at the back of the garden. We had to sell him when we were nine when we moved as we couldn't take him with us, but we sold him to a friend so we know he went to a good home.
Newcastle was quite a decent place to live, and we didn't have many problems there, but we weren't allowed pets for a long time because we lived next to a main road and there wasn't a park or stable nearby, so no chance of getting a cat, dog or horse. Eventually, we had moved to a different place in the outskirts of Newcastle, where we could finally get a horse. Oliver wasn't too interested in horses, but I was still very excited to hear we were getting a horse. At the age of eleven, I recieved little Blue, a gorgeous 13.2 hh welsh pony x who was the best pet I'd ever had. We got proper lessons at a nearby school, and I started competing in bigger competitions, gradually working my way up the ranks. I enjoyed riding so much, that I began riding Blue every day and getting lessons often. When I was thirteen and a half, I outgrew Blue, but I somehow persuaded my parents to keep him. At this moment in time, Darren was earning quite a lot of money as some sort of engineer, and my mother, Emily, was and still is a highschool teacher, so we were getting a lot of money, but we were saving up for a trip to America.
When I was fourteen, I saved up all of my money for another horse, and this time I got Shade, a 15.3 hh thoroughbred gelding who I also competed in eventing with. Shade was even better than Blue, and he was much more of a challenge and had a tendancy to buck a lot. He taught me loads, and before I knew it I was approaching the top levels of under seventeen riders.
At the age of sixteen, we moved to America. There, my parents saved up and bought me Philadelphia, or 'Phil' as we call him. He helped me get to the best competitions, and even got into a showjumping under seventeens team. Oh, and did I mention I love cats? As soon as we moved to America, I bought Pepper and she was one of my best friends. Apart from the fact that she woke me up every morning by sleeping on my face, she is perfect. Recently, I have also bought my two little kittens, Coal and Fox.
So, to sum it all up: I moved to Newcastle from a small house in the countryside, then to America when I was sixteen, and here I am now.

------ Ahh, don't judge me if you don't know me! Yeah, I'm a lot more than I seem. So, personality? I don't know where to start. Well, as you can guess, I'm quite a confident guy, especially around my friends. I love being social and just getting out there and doing things. I'm a very outdoorsy and athletic guy, and I couldn't live without my sports or my animals. They are both a huge part of my life. I love to make friends and see myself as a friendly and approachable person, but you can all make your own opinion on me.
I get very bored easily, so I always need something to keep me going, and that's why I sort of hoard books, and I'm almost always reading, just as soon as I get the time. Plus, my cats keep me amused a lot of the time. My three kitties are brilliant and I love them loads, they never fail to make me smile. I am very lovable and affectionate towards my pets, but to people, not so much. I am kind and polite to people, but I'm not exactly the person who'll go around hugging everyone and kissing them on the cheeks. I get a bit awkward around large crowds and girls, but I will happily go up and meet people if I'm encouraged by my parents. I hate reading out loud or presenting in public, which makes me the complete opposite of my brother, Oliver. He is amazing at acting, singing, performing and just talking to people. He is very likeable, but I just need a bit of encouragement, and once you get me going with someone I'll never stop talking. I like to get into a good conversation, but it's just starting it off that's the problem.
Although I'm confident, I am surprisingly quiet until I have someone to talk to, then I won't shut up. I can talk about just about anything with anyone.
Oh, and I like to joke around and have fun with my friends a lot. We often play pranks on each other and tease each other randomly. I love my mates and I'm looking forward to making even more new friends, just as long as they can put up with my stupidness and constant sarcasm. Some people need a bit of adjustment to the way I use my speech.
I guess that's most of the good points covered, but like all people I do have those negatives. I get frustrated easily, and I'm not all that patient. I usually get in moods sometimes, but I'm the complete opposite around animals. I always take time with animals and am patient and clear with them, but with people I can get quite annoyed easily and often go off in anger. I hardly ever shout at people, I walk away from arguments easily and cool off, but if I can't I can get very angry and annoyed at people, even more so when they laugh at me. Luckily I have never been bullied, so I've avoided a lot of embaressment.
I have also been told that I like things my own way. Which I guess I do... I get annoyed if I can't watch my TV shows or we can't do what I want to do, which has led to a lot of fights with my brother. Oliver and I do argue a lot, but we can never stay mad at each other for long and we always make up in the end. Some people also end up thinking that I'm spoilt, which I absolutely hate. I always try to laugh things off, but it is especially hard for me.
Anyway, that's about it. If you want to know any more, come meet me and actually get to know me! I'd love to meet new people and make more friends, so don't be shy to come up and say hi.

------ Well, it's not that complicated - I suck at talking to girls. I always get quite flustered and awkward around girls and end up stumbling over my words, but I have somehow managed to have my share of girlfriends. My first girlfriend was a lovely girl named Alexa. We were both thirteen when we started going out, and things were going very well: we dated until I was fifteen, nearly sixteen, but we ended up breaking up when I found out I was going to be moving to America, and we both agreed that we couldn't to commit to our relationship after that, but we still remain close friends and chat regularly.
In highschool when I moved to America, I often found that a lot of the girls found me and my English accent adorable, landing me with many other girls, but I never really liked any of them, and I guess it was just to look cool, just to say, 'hey, look! I've got a pretty girlfriend!' which I kind of regret doing now. In one year I had about three or more girlfriends, so none of the relationships really lasted very long. At the moment, I am single, but not really looking for a girl at the moment. Unless they take an obvious interest in me, I'll be trying my best to keep myself to myself.

- ace the wallflower - "H-- Hi. I'm Ace. Ace Sirius Johnson, to be 'precise'.. I'm a guy, if you couldn't tell so far..? I am sorry for being so st-- stammery.. Most people don't talk to me so I don't talk to them either... I am sixteen years of age, currently, born on the twelfth of August in nineteen ninety six. It was a Monday.. How come I remember that? Anyways, I was born in Ireland, in a small city named Letterkenny. So, based on my heritage, I'm eight eighths I-- Irish. Hehe.. That may be why you can't understand some of this. My 'accent'.. Yeah.. Right.. Sorry. Um... Well as I said, m-- most people don't talk to me.. Some call me 'gay' as in homosexual because I I love animals.. I have long-ish hair for a boy, as well.. I'm the biggest wallflower the world has ever seen.. Why? B-- Because nobody talks to me, eminently, and because in pretty much everyone's eyes I'm 'weird'.. But, unlike them, I've learned to embrace most of my weird quirks.. I say most for good reason.. I can't seem to get over my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, otherwise I wouldn't have it.. Also, I trail off my words and I hate it.."
Image
- ace is a looker, is he not? - "You want to know how I look, when I'm sitting directly in front of you? Okay; what do I know of the new world..? Well for all o-- of you blind people, I have a mostly dark brown, mahogany shade of hair colour.. The actual hair is thick in 'consistency' and it tends to stay in the same place; long-ish as well. My eyes next, right..? Well I have a rare 'disease' called Horner's Syndrome... This basically means there is something wrong with my Iris Pigment Epithelium, which there is, and my eyes change colour.. They can change to blue, green, blue-green, light grey, yellow and brown.. Weird, I know... I'm pretty scrawny-- and short as result. I weigh a mere ninety five pounds, and am five foot and two inches tall... Next, hm, I don't really have any tattoos, but I got my right ear pierced-ma-bobby with this.. One thing; they forgot to give me the numbing thingy.. Blooming terrifying.."

Image

- is he really just that cute boy - "Well I-- I've always been shy, mostly due to my only conversing with a-- animals.. I'm very loyal to my friends, but I have a short attention span. I'm eager to try new things, but I tend to fail. Epic fails on my behalf. I'm optimistic, but my world is dark. I'm sociable, but I'm hella ner-- nervous! I curse a lot, yet I'm highly grammatically classed. I'm sporty, but I get injured tons. I guess I'm neutral, as opposed to angelic or demonic. Stuck in the middle-world; not the overworld belonging to Zeus, or the underworld belonging to Hades, and lastly not the ocean belonging to Poseidon-- brother to both Zeus and Hades. Um.. W-- Well I was bought up in an apartment block where my parents were constantly buying pets for me, s-- so I had to learn to love animals.. I have l-- loads. Slalom, and his sister is Tai. Exolial and Elixir; my tabby cats. I have four baby rats, all male. I'm lucky to have them, I know. Wait.. I forgot Lexi and Luka! They're my oldest companions, though Luka looks very young for a rabbit. They're practically my whole life. Hehe.."
Image

- you're interested in what, now? - "W-- Well I like playing sports, I like animals, Pepsi, chocolate, grass, lava lamps, mint herbs, video gaming.. U-- Um.. being left alone, wearing random stuff, reading, writing, s-- singing, music, tables.. I like sleeping, as well. My favourite number is five, um, my favourite day is Wednesday, and, er, my favourite colour is orange.. My favourite animal is a penguin and my favourite season is Autumn. What I don't like? Well, there's bacon, other people's feet, chairs, pianos, swimming, eating animals [yes, I'm a vegetarian], bright lights, loud noises, scissors.. The colour blue, pollen, medicine.. Um.. I'm allergic to pollen, and I despise medicine. I'm scared of printers, Pepsi and torches. Ugh. On the bright side, I love shirts, hoodies and c-- converse. That's a-- all from me.. Being an only child 'for the win'.. Hehe.."
