The story begins with the separation of classes. One is the Socs, short for Socials. The Socs are the classic thuggish, well dressed rich kids who treat everyone else like dirt, and they hate one thing above all; The Greasers. Now the Greasers are another story. They're hoods, juvenile delinquents even. They have long greasy hair, and typically walk around with switchblades and cigarettes. This war between the Scos and Greasers has been going on for as long as anyone can remember, but a silent few of both classes are tired of this, the violence, the death. It's up to them to stop this, but it all depends on if they actually takes action.

Greasers

"Well, I'm Ponyboy, not really much to tell. I lost both of my parents in a car crash a few years back, leaving me with only my two brothers and the gang. My brothers are Darry and Sodapop, they're both good kids, Darry works for a living, sense he's the oldest, Soda dropped out of school. Now there's one thing I'm good in, school. People there, and over on our side of town say I'm a good kid, even if I am a Greaser."


"I'm Dally. Not as open as Pony. Leave me be. Stay when you think you want me, pray when you need advice, hey keep your sickness off me. Maybe if you get close I'll tell you more."


"I'm Johnny... Don't talk much."

"Hey there, how's it goin'? I'm Tommy, Tommy Baxter, nice to meet you I guess."
Tommy Baxter is a Greaser who is ashamed to talk about his cousin, Donna Hartman. He's 16 years old but has been living on his own for about seven years due to the death of his parents. He refuses to move in with his aunt and uncle. Other than that, he's a good, pretty handsome kid.
He has short, thick, dark brown hair that is just long enough to fall over his eyes when wet, although it's usually greased upwards and back. His eyes are a strange mixture of colors. Around the pupil is a dazzling blue 'flame', then a thin ring of jade green. Surrounding the green is a handsome chocolate brown. Throughout the irises are flecks of grey. He's well built and muscular, as he's always participating in sports and exercising. He stands at a full 6''3 and weighs 227lbs. In all, Tommy is a handsome young man with dark hair and captivating eyes, any woman's dream guy. He's tall and well built, able to play almost any sport and not afraid to get in a fight.

"Name is Switchblade, yes, just like the knife I carry, make fun of my name and I'll gut you like a fish. I'm a lot like Pony, only I'm not afraid to fight. I live with Dally sometimes, seeing as he's really the only one who can put up with me when I want to fight, but when I'm calm her can't stand how sweet I am, that's why I hang with Pony."

"Grace Cox, what d'ya want?"
Grace is generally a nice girl, but isn't afraid to knock someone's lights out. She gets along best with Dally and Tommy, but still isn't hesitant about socking either of them when she's mad.
Grace, or Gracie as she's sometimes called, is an average 17 year old Greaser. As far as looks go, she feels that she is decent looking. She has long, dark brown hair that reaches down her back and dark eyes. She stands at 5'8'' and is pretty lean and slim.

"Hiya! I'm Donna Hartman, how are you?"
Don't let this girl's sweet look and charm fool you. She's a 16 year old spitfire just waiting to make a Greaser see stars. Once away from people she could get in trouble with, she's a little demon that is liked only by the other Socs. She and her cousin, Tommy, hate each other with a passion, but no one knows why.
Donna's hair is a rich, golden red and reaches down just past her shoulders. Her eyes are a deep, sky blue that work wonders in helping her appear innocent and sweet. She's 5'7'' and around 122lbs. In all, Donna is a beautiful young woman with dark hair and dazzling eyes. She has a nice, hourglass frame and is fairly tall.

"The name is Cherry Valance, most people call me Cherry,by the way im seventeen. Im a Soc and my boyfriend Bobby (Bob) really doesnt like me hanging out around Greasers, but I really dont care. The only Greaser that I trust really is Pony. I wont or I dont like being around Bobby when he is boozed up though. But, yes you can call me a "rich kid".

Hello. I am Leah. I dont talk much, dont like to be around people much either. I live with my Identical twin sister, April, in an old train car that crashed a few years ago. It is home now.

5'9 with curly strawberry blonde hair with a few freckles on the noses, tan skin and multicolored eyes.
