Hattie
N o r t h
She moaned noncommittally. Fine. Then rolled over gingerly with a grunt of pain, facing the wall now. She kept her eyes at half-mast. She would have been rubbing her eyes, if she wasn't scared to hurt herself even more.
She tried to ignore the shooting pain in her leg, and shoulder. She instead focused on positive energy, she knew from experience that staying more positive-ish would help with the pain, and healing. She reflected on when she was a young kid of 8, after losing her parents and being shot multiple times... she hadn't given up, then it had been her horses to get her through. She had done riding therapy on her horse Ban. She just wanted to focus on something other than the pain then, Ban had made her focus to ride.
Looking back, he had saved her life.
To show you what you need to live?
Tell it to me slowly
Tell you what?
I really want to know
It's the time of the season for loving
Time can bring you down,
Time can bend your knees.
Time can break your heart,
Have you begging please,
begging please.
Forget your lust for the rich man's gold
All that you need is in your soul,
And you can do this if you try.
All that I want for you my son,
Is to be satisfied.
And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul.
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold.
