Mike grabbed the bow and set it on the ground. He grabbed Anissa's arm and walked her out of the brush and into the open."See? Now reveal yourself."

Anissa yanked away from him."I can take care of myself!" She growled at him.

Zane spotted the two and sighed. 'Only humans...' He thought and approached them. "Hello, who are you?" He asked bluntly.

"My name is Mike Slovan and this is Ani-" Mike was interrupted as Anissa punched him in the arm. "I can introduce myself! I'm not 2 anymore!" Then she turned toward Zane."I'm Anissa. Anissa Slovan. And yourself?" She asked.

Zane chuckled. " I'm a passerby in need of help...now tell me, do you two have any weapons?" He asked kindly.

Mike spoke before Anissa had a chance."That depends. Why do you ask?"

Zane smiled. "No, nothing like that. I'm in need of help..." He mumbled worriedly. "I don't have anything to protect myself...So I figured if I had some allies..." He trailed off.
