Anissa stopped eating."Didya' hear that?" She asked.

Mike stopped and listened."Nope." He continued eating.

Eliza snuck into the hotel, going to her old room. She took a deep breath before entering, and a flood of memories came back to her. Upon looking beneath the bed, she found her old tea party box, complete with tiny pink dresses and plastic silver tiaras. Eliza took a tiara out. I'm not a princess. Eliza could imagine that in her three year old voice as she looked to the full length mirror and stood, placing the tiara on her auburn curls. The light gleamed off her charm bracelet, which she put on her wrist and now held close.

Eliza focused on something plastic in the corner; a plastic case. She turned and saw a plastic paramedic/doctor's kit, a gift her mother had gotten her. She went over and lifted it, to find its contents still there. Upon remembering, Eliza looked over to her bed, which held memories of her father telling her a bedtime story each night, some tied together, some not, before she went to bed. Eliza felt herself start to choke up as fresh tears spilled over when she sat on the edge of the bed before curling up in a tight ball.

And she picked up a familiar stuffed elephant named Charlie, and held him close.

Erik kept his distance, standing at the door and turning away.

Derek once again appeared in the room with her and whispered, "Hello pigeon."

Eliza closed her eyes as Derek greeted her with a whispered nickname. She hugged Charles tighter. "Da." She whispered back.

Zane froze as he heard someone talk. He stood and growled. "Who the s**ts there?" He spat.

(...Why do we have to add such a degree of sadness? ;__;)

"Why haven't you been back here?" Derek asked, watching her as his form appeared to sit down on the bed next to her.

"It was too painful, I felt too guilty." Eliza said quietly, the scent of dust filled her nose. A thin layer of it had covered the bed and Charles, and now it was disturbed and floating through the air.

(Because sadness is sad.)

Derek sighed and said, "You don't have to be guilty anymore, pigeon." He looked down at her arm and saw the bracelet he had given her at her fourth birthday and smiled saying, "I remember when I gave that to you."

Eliza looked at her wrist and saw how the charm bracelet sparkled. "Forever means forever." She said quietly.
