"I-I'm fine," Addison tried not to let her voice tremble as she spoke, even though she really wasn't fine. "It happens all the time..." She gave Tod a tiny, grateful smile as they finished picking up her things, "Thank you". Adi shamefully walked towards the trash can and plucked her bag out, since it was on the very top no damage had been done to it. Adi stuffed her supplies back in as she walked back over Tod, smiling a bit more as she recovered, "See? No harm done."

I hand her the things I'd picked up from the floor of hers, smiling. "Glad you're alright," I say, then look down at my watch. "Oh, I really need to be getting to class," I say, looking back up at Adi. "It was nice to officially meet you."

Addison took the supplies from Tod, giving him an appreciative nod, "Same here but yeah, I better go too," she admitted, glancing up at the clock and seeing she was already a bit late for class. "But I'll see you in science" Adi smiled and gave Tod a friendly wave before turning in the opposite direction. She fast walked to her class and opened to door without hesitation. The teacher glared at her as she took a seat, "Late again Addison?!?" She arched an eyebrow. "Yep," she shrugged before bending down to pull out her work for class. The teacher seemed to roll her eyes before turning back to the board.

I watch as Adi leaves for her class as well, and then turn to hurry to my own. The halls aren't quite as crowded now, but I still have to push my way through a few little gatherings of students. As soon as I get to my first class, I sit down in my desk near the middle of the room, and pull out my book. I ignore the looks from the teacher as well as a few other students, and just keep my eyes on the words in the book.

Adrian sighed as everyone began to empty the halls while he was still stuck in the locker. He ruffled his hair in frustration, searching for a way out if this. He tugged on his sleeve and settled for the only option. Reaching in his backpack, he pulled out scissors and began cutting the part of his sleeve that was closed. He popped out insantly. Taking the sweater off, he scrambled to his class. He wasn't given a second glance by the teacher but slunk to the back of the room.


Tyler flipped through the pages in the textbook, eyes scanning the information. A paper ball was thrown at her, bouncing off her head and onto the table. Slowly and hesitantly, she opened it. Inside, there were the nicknames she had been give. And crude drawings. As she shook her head, another was thrown, and another, and another. She began ignoring them, once again focusing on her work.

Addison sucked in a sharp breath as the teacher passed out a test. She had completely forgotten to study the night before. As she got handed her test Adi stared at the paper blankly, unsure of what to do. She knew she couldn't afford to fail this test. Slowly Addison sat up straighter, glancing over the shoulder of the person in front of her. She hated cheating but she felt like she really had no choice in this situation. Addison caught the attention of the student next to her, who glanced at her quizzically before realizing what she was doing. "Please don't..." but she was cut off by the student. "Addison is cheating and looking off other people's papers!" The teacher looked up and glared at her, "We do not tolerate cheating in this class! Go to the principles office at once!" Adi slowly stood up and walked out of the classroom, head hung low.

My eyes widen as I start on the test the teacher had passed out to all the students. I realize that I know hardly any of these answers, which is pretty rare for me. I gulp a little, and look around, quietly, racking my brain for some kind of answer to the questions. The teacher looks up from desk, and straight at me, and glares, her eyes narrowed. "Tod Roberts, you should really learn to keep your eyes where they belong," she says harshly. "Principal's office, right now." I walk out of the room, and let out a deep breath, before going to the dreaded principal's office.
