Through her blurred peripheral vision Addison saw somebody take a seat on another bench a few yards away. She didn't move though, she honestly didn't care what anyone thought about her right now, she just wanted to cry, and release all her pent up emotions. Adi brought her knees up to her chest, feet resting on the bench, and buried her face in her legs, giving herself a bit of privacy to let the tears fall from her eyes.

Tod
I take a deep breath, and walk over to Addison, sitting down next to her. I wrap my arms around her, hugging her close, and tears slipping down my own cheeks. "I'm sorry, Adi," I say quietly. "I guess I should really start thinking about what other people might want me to do, before I act," I say. "Is there any way I can make it up to you?"

Addison was startled when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her, she quickly looked up and felt a wave a relief rush over her as she saw it was Tod. Adi chocked out his name before hugging him back, her arms wrapped tightly around him. She was still crying so she wasn't sure if she made any sense but she quickly responded to Tod, "No, please don't apologize! It's my fault, I know I shouldn't have gotten so mad at you, you didn't do anything wrong." Adi sniffled, wiping a few tears from her face, "Can you ever forgive me?" her broken whisper barely audible.

Why is it that I'm crying so much with this?! It might be because I kinda base my characters off me, and I can never imagine anything like this happening to me....))

Tod
I hug her tightly, hardly able to speak. "Of course I can forgive you," I say quietly. "I shouldn't have just walked out on you like that," I add. "I never meant to hurt you, at all. That's the last thing I want to do." I lower my voice to a whisper, and say, "I like you, Adi."

Addison felt a burst of relief rush through her as Rod said he would forgive her. She shook her head, not wanting him to apologize, she understood his actions. But when Adi heard him admit that he liked her she felt herself immediately freeze, 'Had he meant it as more than a friend?' she wondered. "I-I like you too Tod," Addison looked up into his eyes, "I've never had someone in my life like you." She squeezed him tighter .

Tod
I smile as she says she likes me, too, but then I wonder if she's only saying that to make me feel better. "I've never had anyone like you, either," I say, my voice still quiet. I brush some of her hair out of her face, smiling at her. "Did you know that you remind me a lot of my younger twin sister?" I say, memories of Angela coming back. I've worked hard for two years, to lock them them away and never think of them again, but Adi had brought them out into the open.

Addison felt herself blush as Tod's hand swept her hair from her face. She was surprised to hear him mention his twin sister. Adi had never met her but she knew that Tod's past had been a hard one even before his sister had died. She bit her lip, not sure if Tod was up to having this conversation. "I'm honored," Addison admitted, reaching for Tod's hand and giving it a comforting squeeze, "I never met her but she always sounded like an amazing person," she admitted truthfully.

Tod
I smile sadly, remembering how Angela and I would play basketball together in the summer, and go ice-skating in the winter. We always had a lot of fun together, until our mom died, and it tore her completely apart. "She was," I say, intertwining our fingers together. "That is, she was amazing until she started drugs," I add after a moment.

Addison watched as Tod got that far away look in his eye, she felt her heart break hearing him talk about Angela, she didn't really know what to say, "I'm sorry," she whispered. "You don't deserve to have people that matter so much to you taken away from you like that." Adi wished she could take Tod's pain away, she didn't understand why terrible things happened to people like him.

Tod
I shrug, squeezing Addison a little. "I'll be alright," I say. "At least I still have you," I add, lightly kissing her cheek. "I don't know what I'd do if you hadn't come into my life."

Briar
I decide to stop my the animal shelter, and see if I can help out over there. I like to look at all the animals, and sometimes I even play around with them to help exercise them. I stop outside the large front window, seeing a little puppy inside a glass cage. I can tell the pup isn't a pure-bred, but have no idea what mix it is. I shrug it off, walking inside, to look around.
