I look up at Addison, a bit confused by her words. Should I tell her the truth, or just let it go? I question myself silently. "Just because I'm popular, doesn't mean I don't like other people," I say after a moment. "I like hanging out with different groups other than my usual."

Addison nodded at Tod's words but she felt like he wasn't telling her everything. She shrugged it off, turning the page in her book before answering, "Well I'm glad that you do," Adi smiled up at him, "Otherwise I wouldn't have any friends at this school." She began writing out the questions for her homework, "And besides, you must have a pretty positive influence on me if you can get me to do my homework," Addison laughed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

I laugh at Addison's last remark. "Well, I'll take that as a compliment, I guess," I say, grinning at her. "I don't particularly like homework either, but I'd like to get a good job one day."

Addison laughed, "You should, very few people can actually make me do my homework," she teased. She wondered if she would ever get good enough grades to get an actual job like Tod was talking about. Adi sighed, keeping her gaze focused on her work. Her brow furrowed in consentration, getting stuck on one of the questions.

I grin, but fall silent again, as she focuses on her homework. I glance over at her every now and then, and realize she was having some problems. "Need some help over there?" I ask quietly, not wanting to disturb her, but wondering if I can help out.

Addison blushed as Tod asked her if she needed help. She didn't want him to think she was stupid, "Yeah...I'm stuck on question number six," she admitted, knowing it wouldn't do any good to pretend that she wasn't. Adi blushed some more looking down at her paper, not wanting Tod to see that she was embarrassed.

I stand up, and crouch down by her desk, and lean down on one knee. "What exactly are you having problems with?" I ask, looking from her to the problem, and then back to Adi. My blue eyes sparkle a little, as I look at her, seeing how pretty she is. I wonder why she says that she doesn't have any friends? I think to myself, but say nothing.

((Ok I'm not really a science nerd so I'll just make something up))

Addison finally looked up at Tod, willing the blush on her cheeks to go away. "I'm having trouble understanding the chemical equations..." her breath hitched in her throat a little when he leaned down next to her. Adi looked up at him and their eyes met, she felt herself get lost in the intensity of his gaze. She blushed again, looking away when she realized what she had been doing, 'I seriously need to stop blushing,' she thought to herself.

I look down after a moment of staring into her eyes, a bit embarrassed. I begin to help her out with the problem, looking at her only every so often. "Did that help some?" I ask after explaining.

"Y-yeah," Addison nods, still a bit flustered, "thank you." She smiled back up at Tod, seeing he was a bit embarrassed to but that just made her smile even more, glad to know she wasn't the only one. "You're a good tutor," Adi giggled before glancing back down at her work, moving onto the next problem. Every so often she glanced up to look at Tod and she found herself smiling.
