Nikki nodded and laid her head down again "She does.." She murmured and yawned then closed her eyes.

Nikki buried her face in his chest and dozed off gently.

Nikki slept soundly, curled against Karkat.

He yawned loudly, then Chloe began to cry.

Nikki jumped and sighed, sliding out of bed. She picked Chloe up in her arms "I set out on a narrow road, many years ago... Hoping I would find true love, along the broken road... But I got lost a time or two, wiped my brow and kept pushing through... I couldn't see how every sign, pointed straight to you... That every long lost dream led me to where you are, others who broke my heart, they were like Northern Stars... Pointing me on my way, into your loving arms, this much I know is true... That god bless the broken road that led me straight to you..." She sang at a soft whisper. Getting the baby to stop crying before crawling into bed to feed her.

Karkat heard the whole thing in his sleep, and smiled slightly. Chloe looked at her mother with happy eyes before settling down to feed.

Nikki gently rubbed her daughters back as she fed with a soft smile and proud eyes as she looked at her daughter.
