I shrug, and nod a little. "Yeah, I guess so," I say. But seeing the look in his eyes, I quickly add, "But you never know, we might just meet up again someday." With that I set down my guitar, and wrap my arms around his waist, hugging him tightly, and try not to cry myself.

George bit his lip and fought the tears that threatened his eyes. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. He took a deep breath, "You won't for get me...?" He knew he would never forget her... She was like, his only friend.

I close my eyes, and bury my face in his chest. "I promise," I say quietly, tears slipping down my cheeks. "You've been a wonderful friend, George."

Faith woke up from a nightmare again.She sighed and sat up.She had walked back to her alley and went to sleep last night.She could see Abby and George up on the roof,and she looked at them.

Cherry stuffed a bannana into the pocket of her hoodie and looked around the store,hoping nobody saw.She grabbed an apple,and was about to put in into her pocket as well,but a man walked over,and she quickly put it down."Your the girl who was here yesterday,arn`t you?You never paid for those apples...and you know what happens when you steal?"He asked.Cherry`s eyes widened.Oh no..She took off running toward the exit."Miss,get back here!"The man shouted."Security!"

George hugged Abby close and a silent tear ran down his cheek. He sniffled a little, "Thanks for everything... You've shown me more kindness than most people ever would..."

I nodded a little, not wanting to let him go. I'd never known anyone like him since I was nine, and I didn't want to just leave all that behind. But I knew that I had to go, that it'd never work out anyway.

George thought hard. Was there anyway they could stay together? Maybe... They could form a gang? He pulled away gently and looked down at her, "You know, we could form a gang or something.... We could live up here and work together to get food and stuff.. I've got some money..." He bit his lip softly.

I chew on bottom lip, thinking, then nod slightly. "I don't really have anywhere to go, so I guess it'll be alright," I say softly.
