{Recap: George and Abby(or we think that's her name) got away from the police and ar enow up on the roof. Its night time and they have become friends. Tip: I wouldn't hurt Abby... Georgie might get kinda mad... xD}

George smiled down at her and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. He gently wrapped his arms around her, "Im glad to be called your friend... And it makes it better knowing it's hard to earn your friendship..." He smiled softly.

I close my eyes, trying not to cry. Maybe I've found someone I can trust, after all, I think to myself, wondering if I should tell him the rest of my story, as well as my real name. I decide to hold off for now, and wait a while.

Beth was sitting next to a grocery store, looking at a five dollar bill somebody gave her. What did they take her for? A bum? All she did was ask if she could get directions to the next Wall-mart. The woman gave her a sad look and pulled a five dollar bill out of her Prada bag and handed it to her. She looked around and put it in her tote. Worn with age, the ends fraying, and one of the straps held together by duct tape.

George looked away and yawed quietly. That day had been a busy one for him and he was exsausted. He gently turned back to Abby, "I think i'm gonna go ahead and get some sleep... Anything else I can get for you?"

I pull away from George, and shake my head, smiling at him. "Uh, no, I'll be fine," I say, gulping a little.

George could see her hestitation, "You sure?" He looked down at her, a little worry showing through his eyes.

"Positive," I say, smiling at him reassuringly. My head was spinning with confusion about what had just happened, and I just needed a little rest.

"Alright... If you need anything just let me know..." George said quietly. He gentlypulled away from her and made his way over to his bookbag. He layed down with his head resting on the old backpack.

"I will," I say with a sigh. I turn around as George left, and cross my arms on the wall of the roof. Laying my head down on my arms, I once again gaze out at the starry sky.

George's eyes closed and the sound of his gentle breathing confirmed that he was asleep. His soft brown hair had fallen over his eyes and his hands lay on his stomach.
