Cheyanne nodded as she listened to Shadow agree to come back over. Then the line went dead, Shadow having hung up. She flopped back to lay on her bed, her mind racing as she went through different scenarios that were mostly worst case. Then her mind went to Josh, wondering if he was okay but soon enough she became angry again. Why the hell didn't he get any help?! she thought as she threw a pillow across her room. It busted a picture frame that had a picture of her and Josh when they were younger. It was at her tenth birthday party and both of them had cake on their faces. Her dad had taken it before he became an alcoholic and hated everything about his daughter growing up. Soon enough she was pulled from her thoughts by her phone. She picked it up and answered, "Hello? ... Okay. I'll be out in a sec," she said before she hung up, wiped her eyes free of tears (atleast for the moment), and made her way outside. She ran to where Shadow would normally park and saw him, feeling the tears begin to form. "H-hey," she said, slowing a bit when she got closer.

While she hung up, I just sat here and watched everything instinctively. My mind was pondering what this could possibly be about. On the phone, she sounded upset. It all seemed weird to me. I just dropped her off like, thirty minutes ago ? All I could imagine was her dad did something, or told her something. I look up when she appears. I bit my lip, getting out of the car. "Hey, are you okay ? Did..he do something to you? " I kept my voice low, but loud enough so she could hear me. I went over to her, looking her over for a moment. She didn't look hurt or anything, but I could tell she wanted to cry. I pulled her into my arms, hugging her."What's wrong. ?" So many questions. I sighed.

Cheyanne walked a bit closer to Shadow before he got out of his car and walked towards her. When he asked her if she was okay she shook her head and felt a few stray tears roll down her cheeks. "I know you'll probably hate me for this but Josh got bit by a car when he was riding his bike and he texted me saying he needed help, and I knew you would've been mad if I told you about it so I told you my dad needed me home. I got home and took one of my dad's cars and drove out to where Josh was and tried to help him but Juliet was trying to convince him to go practice with the band then Matty showed up and now Josh is going to practice with his band instead of getting his head wound checked out and I got really mad. I drove until I couldn't see anymore because of tears then I managed to get home and called you," she said pretty fast and braced herself for Shadow's yelling and anger. Her body tensed and she closed her eyes, looking down and waiting for either a verbal or physical blow like she was used to getting from her father. She feared that this would make their relationship crumble and he would hate her for lying to him and going to help Josh on that lie.

As they flew down the road Lianna realized that Drake didn’t know where she lived and yet somehow they were headed in the right direction; if her dad had the time to drive her he would take this route. At least she thought it was, the blur of grass, road and car seemed a little familiar. Holding on tighter to Drake’s middle Lianna couldn’t help but close her eyes and tried to take deep breaths.
As they pulled up to her house Lianna’s eyes widened a fraction, how did he know? Only her close friends knew where she lived, not like it was a big secret or anything, it was just one of those things she didn’t tell everyone. Stepping off the bike as Drake took in the scenery Lianna removed the helmet, her hair probably a little static. When Drake spoke Lianna smiled, even if it was a tad nervously “The concert remember?”, she asked, “Anyway I’ll-uh just drop off my bag and then we can get going.” she sad before turning to walk up the stairs and in through the door.
The door shutting with an audible click Lianna leaned against it and ran a hand through her hair how did he know where she lived? Had their friend told him? No, even if he’d known her address it was like he’d been here before, memorized like the back of his hand. Taking a few calming breathes Lianna chuckled at herself, she was just making a big deal out of nothing -Still, it would be good to ask him- her inner voice reasoned with her and for once she agreed. Dropping her bag at the front door Lianna made sure to pocket her cell phone and keys before returning back outside and locking the door. Once she was sure the door was locked Lianna walked down the steps back down toward Drake and his bike, stopping just beside him. Taking a deep breath Lianna spoke “I-uh, I need to ask you something…How did you know where I lived? I mean—you drove here like you’d memorized my address or something.” her blathering dying down to an awkward silence.

Had he actually lost his memory? He puzzled over the thought for a moment and then only glanced up to see her walking into her house. "Oh ... right." He slowly murmured, propped up his chip with his palms, resting his elbows on the handle bars. Drake waited for a short moment, and she once again appeared in front of his eyes, which startled him a bit. He rose, letting his grey eyes fall scan her up and down ... up and down. He blinked slightly and tried to concentrate. He tilted his head in confusion. Drake opened his mouth but shut it quickly, realizing he had no words that would answer her question. Would he actually tell her the truth? No, lying to chicks was so much easier. "Uh, I just picked it up somewhere. All those stupid jocks are, sometimes, you know ..." He paused, wincing a little. "Hey-- it's not like I follow you." He hunkered down a little, then to get her movin', he patted the seat behind him. "C'mon."

Ace wasn't sure how to react as Serena's dad and his walked in the door together, "Your teacher here tells me that you're doing well in school" Ace's dad said, his happy tone sounding ever so slightly forced. it only took Ace a moment to realize that he was acting for Serena and her fathers benifit.

He nodded, uncertain of how to react and forced a smile onto his own face, "That would be correct" he said slowly. "um... Dad meet Serena and Serena meet my father" he said, making awkward introductions.

Feeling herself blush under Drake’s gaze Lianna looked down at the pavement kicking it with the toe of her boots and waiting for Drake to respond to her question. Why was she so nervous? She knew that her friend would never set her up with some kind of creeper. Looking up at Drake as he gave her an explanation Lianna looked back down at the pavement, yeah sure she’d dated one or two of those Jocks but they’d only ever been to her house a few times and yet it was possible. Guys could be jerks, that much was painfully obvious. “Yeah, I know.” Lianna said under her breath, seeing him wince slightly Lianna felt confused, what did he have to wince about? It wasn’t as if the jocks were talking about him behind his back. Mouth tilting up at the corners at his next statement Lianna nodded “Yeah, sorry I just had to ask though, I wasn’t trying to accuse you of anything…” she told him, biting her lower lip softly. Blinking Lianna looked down at Drake’s hand as he patted the seat behind him -right, they were going to the concert- “Oh, uh sorry.” Lianna said swinging her leg over the bike. Once she was comfortable sitting Lianna slipped the helmet Drake had given her over her head and wrapped her arms around his middle.

He shrugged slightly, a shutter making him jump slightly. When she got back on the bike, he looked at the time that blinked around his wrist. He grimaced and glanced back at her with furrowed eyebrows. "So, the concert is supposed to start at 7:30, so ..." Instead of finishing his sentence, he let the bike roar and speed back down the road. A little bit later, or, actually, about an hour later, Drake pulled into a large lot type thing that was covered with cars, bikes, etc. and hundreds of people. He turned the bike off, silencing the growls. He got off, grabbing Lianna's helmet from her head unconsciously and wrapped it 'round the handle right bar. He straightened jacket and ran a hair through his sweaty black hair, then offered his hand to Lianna. "My lady? He bowed with a sarcastic grin coming to his face, the wildness spiking in his eyes.

Ace wasn't sure how to react as Serena's dad and his walked in the door together, "Your teacher here tells me that you're doing well in school" Ace's dad said, his happy tone sounding ever so slightly forced. it only took Ace a moment to realize that he was acting for Serena and her fathers benefit.

He nodded, uncertain of how to react and forced a smile onto his own face, "That would be correct" he said slowly. "um... Dad meet Serena and Serena meet my father" he said, making awkward introductions.

Serena put on her best award winning smile and shook his fathers hand. "It's very nice to meet you, sir" she said politely, her back straight showing much confidence in herself. She let go of his hand finally and then looked over at her father and then up at Ace. She moved slightly closer to him, feeling an odd presence from his father.

Gently she moved her hand so that it laced with his in the back of them so that no one could see the lacing of their hands. She squeezed it, trying to tell him that Serena chewed on her lip and then finally let go of his hand and moved to be closer to her father who was smiling encouragingly over at the two. "Yes! Ace has done fabulous in biology! one of my best students" he beamed. "you should be very proud of him" he said and nodded
