Ashley, who had been silent the entire time, finally spoke up: "I love pasta!" She stuck her fork in the half-empty bowl and gobbled up a large bite, puffing her cheeks out. Swallowing, she turned her brown gaze on Dimitri. "So, how old are you?" she asked curiously.

"Sixteen, turning seventeen in like a month or so." Dimitri replied. Vassily got his brother in a head-lock and ruffled his hair. "He is the baby of the family!" Vassily teased, releasing his brother.

Ashley grinned, twirling a lock of her hair in an ashamed fashion. "I'm still sixteen too," she admitted, sneaking a glance at Vassily.

"Well in that ca-" Vassily cut his brother off. "Dude, you have a girl friend." Vassily reminded him. Dimitri shrugged. "I can break up with her." Dimitri thought aloud. Vassily rolled his eyes, grabbing an Xbox 360 control and throwing it to Ashely. He switched to a racing game.

Ashley caught the controller with one hand and laughed at Dimitri. "Nice try, at least," she teased, and began to squint at the game, grinning. "I can so beat you at this."

"Wanna a bet?" Vassily asked with a raise of his brow, keeping his eyes fixed on the tv. "So, your not to bothered about me killing people and shizz?" Vassily asked as he chose his car.

Shian walked back to her locker and moved some books.

Ashley focused intensely on the screen, afraid to look away. "I mean...at first, it kind of concerned me, as it probably should...but then I met your family. You guys don't seem like murderers to me. Maybe you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time." She shrugged, selecting a blue car without knowing what type it was, "That's how I like to think of it, anyways. Besides, how can I be friends with you if I think you're a murderer?"
