(Kaiiyen is... Hm... I think she's around 22 or 23 now. Just recently had twins with her husband.)

Kaiiyen crept through the forest as quietly as possible. She knew what stalked the forests, and had to be silent in her travels. She did, however, whistle to herself some Phantom of the Opera songs to keep her cheerful.

Taylor saw Kaiiyen and watched her silently.

Kaiiyen stopped when she felt she was being watched. She let her whistle slide down in pitch as she took out her pistol and made sure it was loaded. "If any human does not make themselves known in three seconds," she said in a crisp Brittish accent, "I will fire and anything within a half mile radius will come here to investigate, and we'll both be in a lot of trouble."

Taylor dropped down silently behind her. "That would not be wise," she said, her hood partially covering her face.

"I think I've live long enough in this world to know that, dear girl," said Kaiiyen, not putting away her gun. Her katana was placed delicately along her back, and her own hood shadowed her face and also keeping hidden the scar that traced along her delicate throat. "I'm old enough to handle myself. I've served in the army against this war, and I can certainly defend myself."
