Eliza pulled her arm away as he touched it. "Ow!! I broke the bone.." Eliza said quietly.

Kaiiyen studied her arm. "Sheesh, we're going to have to force this bone back in place." She murmured quietly to Derek so Eliza wouldn't hear.

Derek nodded silently and said, "Alright sweetheart, Da's going to help you feel better, okay? I want you to hold on to Mummy for me, as tight as you can. It's going to hurt for a moment, but I'm going to help you feel better."

Luka went outside and asked, "Are you alright?"

Eliza eyes her father suspiciously, but took hold of her mother's neck with both arms and held as fight as she could.

Kaiiyen coughed. "One arm. The unbroken one." She told Eliza, who slowly complied.

Derek took off his shirt and gently took hold of her arm. Without giving her a warning, he reset her arm; moving quickly, he used two broken pieces of wood, ripped his shirt into strips and made a splint for her arm.

Jessica ignored Luka. She grabbed her daggers and stepped back, sending them into the trunk

Elaine, trying to pull away when her father merely touched her arm, screamed when the bone reset. She didn't stop screaming or crying.

Kaiiyen cringed and held her daughter comfortingly, rocking her back and forth in her arms, trying to soothe her tears.

Luka gently gripped Jessica's arm, stopping her for a moment as he asked, "Hey, are you alright?"

Derek gently touched Eliza's cheek murmuring, "Hush pigeon, it's alright now."

Eliza wanted to push Derek away. Smart as she was, she was still a child and didn't understand that he was helping her, not punishing her. "What did I do?" She sobbed, pushing his hand away with her other hand. "I said I was sorry!!"

Kaiiyen shook her head, tears in her own eyes. No parent liked seeing their child cry, and she was no exception. "No... Da was helping you... Now the bone will heal better."

Derek murmured, "I know love, but it's going to be alright though. Your arm's going to feel better soon."
