"I'm not sure where you're parents are right now, but I'm sure they'll be here soon okay?" Luka said gently, glancing at her arm.

Derek looked forward, staring at the gas station for a moment. He spotted a girl just inside the front door and said, "Alright, I think Eliza might be in there. I'm going in first and I want you to cover me if you can, alright?"

Jessica saw movement and drew her sword, preparing for anything that would try and attack them."Luka-" She gave a sharp warning.

Kaiiyen nodded and her fingers brushed his hand. "Be careful. Negotiate first. We don't know what or who we're dealing with." She said.

Eliza nodded. "Can I have a cast now?"

Luka jerked around as Jessica called his name and said gently, "Just a moment, honey." He got up and walked next to her asking, "What is it?"

Derek nodded and checked to make sure his shotgun was loaded and ready. "Alright, here we go," he murmured. He stood up and walked towards the entrance, gun at the ready. Spotting the two people, he raised his weapon and snapped, "Drop it, right now!"

Jessica flicked her attention to the man, then to the gun, then to Luka. She instantly became a protective mother, over her cubs."I'll find Eliza and make sure she's safe. Hide, or do something!" She whispered and dodged to the left, running through the gas station to find Eliza. She quickly found her and pick her up gently."Come on, Lets go somewhere safe, ok?" She held the girl in one arm and the sword in the other.Please don't give me a hard time kid!! She begged.

Eliza heard faint traces of her father's voice. "Da?!" She tried to get up, but hit her head and landed on her broken arm. She began to wail, long and loud, hot tears rolling down her cheeks. From the sound of it, it was like she was being tortured.

Kaiiyen's eyes didn't stray from her husband's back. But when she heard her daughter sound like she was beig treated terribly, her eyes grew wide. "Eliza?!"

Jessica picked up and held the girl, rubbing her back."Shh....It's ok..It's fine, it's going to be ok.." She picked up the cast and put it around Eliza's neck."Here, put your arm in here, it will help."

Luka held his sword, ready to fight, but he wasn't prepared for Derek to rush in.

Derek heard his daughter and called, "Eliza!" He ran in and bulldozed Luka over, calling for his daughter.

Eliza cried still, wailing as her arm burned and throbbed and stung like nothing she had experienced. "Daddyyyy!!!" She cried.

Kaiiyen jumped up as well, ignoring Luka and heading after Derek. "Eliza?"

Jessica narrowed her eyes and ran to the back of the station, holding Eliza tight. She held her sword high.
