Eliza knocked on the door to their bedroom. "Mum? Are you crying?" She opened the door. "Mum..." She dawdled over to her mom. "Don't cry, Mum!! Charles will save you!" She held up Charles the elephant, which made Kaiiyen smile.

"Well then my dear Celery...", Sella-Dohra reached down and scooped up Luna. She stepped forward and delicately deposited Luna into his arms.

Ceryni smiled. "Such a cute little fox she is."

"Yes...", Sella began jumping from one foot to the other, spinning in a tight circle. She ruffled her hands in the folds of her dress, growing restless. Then her arm suddenly lashed out and grazed Ceryni's head. A small knife tucked in Sella's palm cut a lock of hair from his head. She quickly did the same to Luna. In one palm she held the boy's hair and in the other the fox's. Both palms were outstretched and open.
She brought them near each other, whispering, "Look."
Sella tipped Ceryni's hair into the same palm that held Luna's. They two were practically identical in color.
"Such a sight as you see. His color the same as the foxie. How could this be? A perfect match? Have they come from the same batch?"
Sella laughed loudly and threw the hair up into the air. She began spinning in huge circles, flinging herself around the clearing, all the while laughing. Her feet tripped over one another and soon she was in the ground. The laughing never stopped except for the times she yelled out, "Impossible!"...."Impossible!"

Derek picked Eliza up and sat her down on his lap saying, "Yes, Charles the might elephant will come and save the day, love." He kissed Eliza's cheek and smiled at her.

Eliza giggled and hugged both her parents happily, squeezing them. "I love you." She said quietly.

Derek kissed her cheek and whispered, "I love you too, Eliza."

Kaiiyen took Eliza's hand in hers before standing and saying. "Derek, I'm off to go hunting."

Derek stood saying, "Let me do that. You don't know the area around here like I do."

"I don't, but that's the point of exploration." Kaiiyen said. "I wish I could go with you, but...: her eyes trailed down to Eliza. "You go. I'll stay here and teach the girl some of her lessons." Eliza gave a pout. "I don't like learning my lessons..." She whined. "Lessons are good for you." Kaiiyen said sternly.
