Dorothea swiped at her eyes and spat out her nicotine gum. As she paced up and down the aisle of the bus, she wondered what Summer Brook Stables would be like. Redemption, her social worker had said as she plaited Big Boy's chestnut mane. Paradise, remember, can only be found on your horse's back. You'll be riding a lot at Summer Brook. Thea swallowed, tasting the lingering flavor of the gum in her mouth. "Jesus, help me," she murmured. The bus driver glared at her, clearly wanting her to sit down. She ignored him and continued pacing. Finally the bus gave a lurch, and then halted. Thea looked up at the ceiling, then out the window. Reddy was waiting for her. She'd seen the stable in the pamphlet her social worker had given her. Redster would like it there. As she jumped out of the bus with her backpack, she thought, I hope I will too.
I have a role play persona looking for an Elite Riding Academy to join!
Does anyone do free fursonas?
19 Do you give the horse its strength
or clothe its neck with a flowing mane?
20 Do you make it leap like a locust,
striking terror with its proud snorting?
21 It paws fiercely, rejoicing in its strength,
and charges into the fray.
22 It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing;
it does not shy away from the sword.
23 The quiver rattles against its side,
along with the flashing spear and lance.
24 In frenzied excitement it eats up the ground;
it cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.
