Everyone has problems with their lives, but some are more significant than others. Six teenagers, six impossible dreams, six huge obstacles standing in the way.
Los Angeles is often called the City of Angels--and it'd take a few angels to make those dreams become reality. Or maybe just a few others in the same position. On the sunny day of June 13th, six lives have crashed together, hard and without warning. They shouldn't be friends; they're all completely different. Under any other circumstances, they'd barely acknowledge each other's presences, if they crossed paths at all. Maybe the heat got to them, or maybe opposites do attract. It could be that they've all just found the people who can help them chase their dreams. Maybe they've all found their own personal dreamcatchers.

Literacy & Posts
This is semi-lit at minimum. You wanna go higher, go ahead. I'm not gonna stop you. My definition of semi-lit, however, is a bare minimum of 5 lines, good detail, good spelling, good grammar. That's with writer's block, not without. Yes, I'll accept writer's block as an excuse some of the time. Not every post. You use it too much, you get a warning. So if you post a few sentences and when I point it out whine about writer's block, you're gonna annoy me. I don't like being annoyed.
I do like pretty posts. I love them. It makes me feel like people actually care about my RP's. Self-esteem boost, yay! If you're on a phone/iPod/whatever and can't, that's fine, just try to center it if you can. If it's not centered it looks really awkward to me...Anywho, please RP in third person. Status thingys, colors (as long as they're not blinding and can actually be read), smaller size font, whatever. Have fun with it. Please no pictures in posts, only on forms.

Characters & Forms
Use your own form. I like to see how creative everyone is. As long as it has the basic info (name, age, gender, nicknames, pictures or a very detailed description [pictures preferred], big dream, major obstacle [check out mine for examples on what I'm looking for for this, but no stealing! PM me if you need ideas], stuff like that.), have whatever you want. You don't need to PM it to me or anything, just post it here. I won't accept WIP forms and will just ignore you if you don't finish them after a while, so make sure to actually finish them. No anime or major celebrity pictures (less famous people are fine if you really must...) or celebrity/famous names. This includes fictional characters. Please make your characters interesting and original. Remember, they're all different.
There are only six slots so I'm limiting it to 1 character per person. I do reserve spots, but only for 24 hours. After that, it's fair game. I might not be able to get on every 24 hours until my laptop is fixed, so if you're wanting to join, make sure to check when reservations are up.

Important People
I will assign a co-owner and one, maybe two mini-mods. Please don't ask to be one, I'll ignore you. If I want you to be one, I'll PM you and ask. If you say yes, I'll put your name up on the post. Yay! My co-owner will have the power to accept or reject forms, enforce rules, give warnings, and do other owner-y things. Mini-mods, and only the mini-mods, will be able to remind people of rules. If they're really having a problem with someone, they'll talk to me or my co-owner about them.

Warnings
Three strikes, you're out. Period. Got it? Good. I will not give warnings for minor things like not putting (()) around OOC or having your post a little short (unless it's been happening a bunch). Only me and my co-owner can give warnings and if anyone else tries, they'll get a warning.

------------ Avelyn is that quirky girl who hovers on the sidelines but manages to shove her way into the limelight every once in a while--more to annoy the popular people than for her own benefit. She specializes in annoying people she doesn't like, and she hates anyone like the 'pops', as she calls them. She's loud and fearless and has a certain contagious energy. People try to categorize Avelyn, but it never really works. She's perfectly angelic and completely rebellious. Avelyn's life is the performing arts--music, dance, and theater. Avelyn is the carefree girl who dances in the rain like no one's watching, sings at the top of her lungs to her favorite songs and couldn't care less who hears, and keeps a jar of fireflies next to her bed. She's flirty and fun-loving, adores her friends,and is a hopeless romantic. It takes a little more than a smile and some flirting to catch her heart, but once she falls, it's hard. Each time she ends up heartbroken and swearing she'll never fall again.

Hello! My name is Tymber Rae Winters. Yes. Quite a weird name, if you'd like to say. My name always reminded me of trees, hah..I don't know, why but, yeah. My middle name...err. They just threw that on me, that's not a joke. They seriously did just throw it on me. But anyways, I do have a fancy for my last name. It just gives it that...hmm..ring, I guess. Like a song. Oh dear..Yeah, now's kind of a random time for me. And times are always random for me, because I will literally say anything that pops in my mind, I guess.




Well, there's tons of things you can call me. Just if you call me something 'unworthy' or 'unacceptable' to me, your not gonna wanna look in the mirror, after what your face looks like when I'm through with you. Yeah..So, anyways. My peeps call me 'Tym' (Tim) more than they do call me Tymber. It's kinda my thing. Yeah, there's where the nickname hit me. Tymber-Tym. It gives it a good sound. I love it. I'm also called Tymie (Timmy), Twinkie, Panda, and sometimes . Yeah, weird. And sometimes, my middle name, Rae, I guess.




Hmm...seems like I get this question allot. Allot of people called me 'Tym', for about...err.. 13 years? Yeah, and in class, on the first day, the teacher was calling out the role and said: "Tym!? Do you know where he is? Where is he?! He better not be late." And I would just slope down into my seat, as I was pointed and laughed at. It was pretty rude, and unacceptable to me, being teased and laughed at through the hallways, all day, but yeah...Look at me now! I'm tall and strong, with pride. But did I mention that...hmm. I'm a girl, thank you very much. Do I look like I have short hair, manly biceps, and abs? No. But truthfully, I do have some abs. I work out, so heh.




As you can tell from my wrinkles, cane, and grey hair; I'm 87 years old! Ha! No way. I'm eighteen years young, and absolutely proud of it. Living young, wild, and free. No stopping me, baby! Anyways, most people would say seventeen years 'old', but not me. I say young, like the epic people do. Oh yeah! But still, who seriously wants to call their self "old".old.old. No it just doesn't add up. So...I was born in December 17th 1995. And if you wanna know what my sign is; it's Sagittarius. Yep, such a crazy word, isn't it? Well, while were at this, I'm just gonna go ahead and talk about where I originated. Yup. Where I was born! Where was I born? Oh, wait. Got it. France, Paris. I don't exactly have an accent of it, but I do know some of their language before I moved to Miami, Florida!

At the age of six, my mother died, and my father became depressed. I battled for time with him, doing whatever it took to get his attention. I was so focused on bringing my father back to his usual self, I did things I regret. He sent me of to boading school, but I was ok. The only reason I went was because I knew I reminded him of my mother. He got over her and now I have a step mom. I don't talk to her vey much, I know she disapproves of my tatoos but whatever.
