In the town of Comet, Montana an old man sat on the porch of the first building of the town. He had two very visible revolvers tucked in to his belt and a rifle laying across his lap. As you ride into town he grabs the rifle, cocks it and stands up. "What are you doin' here partner?"His voice was a bit rough, probably from age. He was just past half way through life, maybe around forty. Without waiting for your answer he nodded toward the city. "Head on in. You don' look like a hard case. Just don' kick up a row in there or I'll have to knock your galley west and throw you in the hoosegow. Get on, ya hear," Even with his harsh blue eyes the old man was somewhat kind. The sparkling golden star on his chest pointed out his rank- sheriff. You'd have to keep that in mind as you set out into the city on your horse. He might come in handy later on.

Comet is a decent sized town with about fifty townspeople. It is set in southwest Montana, and has a mountainous landscape. The town is set up in a horseshoe shape with the Sheriff's Office sitting in the only entrance to the town. Most people aren't too happy with Yankees coming into their home. In fact, a couple of men have killed every Yankee man that has set foot in that town with intention of staying.

There are many stores in Comet, including a General Store that sells all of your common goods, a Doctor's Office with all of your standard medicines, a Livery for your horses, a Saloon for your boarding and drinking needs, and a Gunsmith for your gun's health.

Some of the finer places include the Davis Ranch, the Smoke Valley Ranch, Davis Corral, Davis Bank, Miss Rose's Hotel, the Bath House, the Gold Mine, and the Courthouse. The Davis family owns most of the city, including
the two main ranches, the corral, the bank, the hotel, the bath house, the gold mine, the saloon and the general store. If you have a feud with them you should get out of town.
