Alanna finished drawing one of the baby ducks, i didn't really look as cute as the actual duck, but at least she tried. She stared at her drawing for a while, it looked a little weird. Turning the page, she leaned the sketchbook on her left leg and started a new drawing. Her hands now were really freezing. Alanna loved to make drawings but she often got frustrated with them. A few minutes later, she noticed someone talking to her. Looking up at the boy and now paying attention, she noticed he was kind of familiar. "Uh, hello." Alanna said friendly. "You look familiar to me." The girl added. Maybe they have seen eachother on school or somewhere else. "I'm Alanna, by the way."

Aidon offered his hand to Alanna. "Aidon," he replied casually. He shifted is weight from one foot to another. "What are you doing here?" he asked, motioning to the sketchbook. "Drawing?"
He glanced at the duckling she drew and whistled. "That's really good."
Immediately he regretted it, knowing he sound snoopy. "Sorry, I couldn't help but notice."
Across from the pond, he heard Dani cough purposefully. He shrugged her off. She could wait a few more minutes.

Alanna took his hand, hers was cold as snow. "Nice to meet you." She added, now looking to her sketchbook. "Yes, i love to come here and draw these ducks, specially the small ones." She was kin of shy because of her drawings, they never seemed to be good. The girl giggled at his whistle and nodded. "Thank you, i guess. And it's okay, i mean, you would notice anyway." She said softly, getting up from the bench and closing the sketchbook. She rubbed hear hands and looked at Aidon. "Aren't you cold? I'm almost freezing." The girl said with a small laugh.

Zach is pretty much just you average guy, he is sometimes pretty random. He is loud and funny. He seems like he could care less about anything in the world but he can sometimes get emotional. Zach shows his feelings and emotions to any girl he loves. Zach is funny, competative, sarcastic, friendly, sweet, random, and loud. Zach is not always just fun and games, he is serious sometimes. Although he loves attention, Zach is pretty smart but he doesnt always like to show it. Because of his past he is the type of person to hide his pain behind laughter and jokes. When he was 15 he started to take after his mother and he began sneaking drinks whenever he thought about his parents. He got addicted to alchohol. His half sister Natalie found out and she tried to help him out of it. Zach has gotten better but he could still use some help. Neither of them have told her mother about it.

Zach has had a tough childhood, his dad died in Iraq fighting for the military when Zach was little. He doesnt really remember his dad and that took a slight toll on his life, not having a fatherly figure around. Zach's mom took it even harder. She began drinking heavily when Zach was about 8. Later on she got into drugs and frequiently would take her anger out on Zach. Yelling at him for little things and sometimes she would hit him. When Zach turned 10, his mom was still coming home drunk at night. Finally she didnt want to have to take care of him so she sent him to live with his half sister Natalie and her mom. Zach didnt hear from his mom for 2 years until someone delivered the news that his mom had died from an overdose. Zach lost both of his parents and now permanently lives with Natalie and her mom.

Dani glanced at the girl in envy. She didn't know why she felt jealous. Maybe it's because she still has feelings for him? No, those feelings were shoved away a long time ago. Well, he did ditch her for the girl. Dani coughed again, but not on purpose this time. She always got a cold when winter came around. Shivering, Dani tugged down on her hat, the snow seeping into her skin. More ducks quacked, demanding bread. Instead, she headed back to the car and turned it on, rubbing her hands together. Though she didn't like hot weather, Dani much preferred Autumn and Spring. The cool temperatures were soothing to her. She didn't like being cold all of the time, or being hot like a lot of people. Leaning up against the dashboard, she watched Aidon and the girl talk, wondering when they would be done.

Aidon rubbed his fingers together, regretting leaving his gloves in car as they turned numb.
"I grew up in the mountains. After a while, you get used to it."
Aidon's ears pricked up as he heard the car door slam, hoping Dani wouldn't drive away. He glanced over at her, finding that she only turned on the car to get warm.
And she was watching them.
Aidon shuddered, afraid she still liked him. But he knew that she was a little bit sensitive, and he did abruptly run off..
"So, were you born here?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. She seemed like an interesting person. Someone to be good friends with.

Alanna stared at her hands, regreting leaving her gloves at home. "No, i was born in England, but i moved here when i was one year old, i barely remember anything from there." The girl added, lettig her hair down. Her hair just fell around her shoulders, covering her ears, that were also freezing. "Hm, i think that girl is getting impatient." Alanna added shyly, looking back at the boy.

Aidon nodded as she talked, his chin resting on his fist. He noticed that she was shivering, so he pulled a hat out of his coat pocket and handed it to her without saying a word.
When she mention Dani, he looked back at her. "Eh, that's just how she is. Her name's Danica."
The name felt weird in his mouth; he couldn't remember the last time he ever called her that unless he was angry.
"Actually, we were just about to grab some coffee. Care to join us?"
Aidon held out a hand to Alanna to help her up with a small smile.

Alanna shyly picked the hat, holding it with her hands, trying to get warm. She looked up at Aidon again, with a smile. "Oh, thank you." She said, still smiling. Looking back at the car, she nodded. "She's your sister?" Alanna asked, feeling a little stupid. "I'd love to come with you." She said, picking his hand to get up. The girl picked her sketchbook and her pencil that were laying on the bench. "Do you like these ducks? I mean, i love to watch them, but i'm kind of afraid they might attack me anytime." The girl said with a soft laugh.

"Sister? Hardly. Just a good friend." Aidon smiled at Alanna, gazing out at the ducks.
"You're just like Dani. Me? Ah, I kind of ignore them. The ducklings are cute, though," he replied, a bit absent-minded. He kneeled down to put his violin back in it's case, silently cursing himself for leaving it out while it was snowing. Clicking it shut, he slung the instrument over his shoulder and continued toward the car, opening the back door for Alanna.
"Wait, is she coming with us?"
Aidon's eyes snapped to Dani. Her tone wasn't angry or annoyed, just curious. Though he knew that it was supposed a private day for the two, Dani wouldn't yell at him. She would probably get quiet and distant for a little bit, but she'd come around.
"Yeah," Aidon answered, "yeah, she's coming. Her name is Alanna. Alanna, this is Dani."
Dani smiled. "Nice to meet you."
