Running was fun... A good way to forget. But out here it was like running on moving rocks, which it practically was. You know, sand... It sucks. So, it took a while to get used to the running on the sinking grains. After about fifteen minutes running in the warmth I began to sweat a lot more then I always did. In Ierland it was cold, not freezing, but often raining so I didn't worry about sweating a bunch or the warm humid air. But after about fourty minutes I was done, literally my hair sticking onto my forehead and my bare chest sparkling with drops of salty sweat. I had made it to the beach and down the sides a bit, before heading back towards te house. Running my fingers through my bangs, attempting to keep the clumps from pressing against my forehead, I finally cam close enough to the house that I could slow down to a slower jog.
Most of the kids I believe had gathered around the pool area, and I honestly didn't want to be there. Knawing my lower lip lightly I jogged up onto the deck, slowing to a halt. Laying my hand on my abdomen, I looked at everyone through my sunglasses, staying in the edges. Slowly wrapping my arms around my chest, my muscles tightening a bit, I decided this might be a bit worse then I thought it would. I wasn't really the best person to get to know unless you happened to be attractive. I spotted the little brunette girl in the pool that let me in, and my bright green eyes ran across her body before I studied the rest of the people, my eyes[if you could see them] and face in general not showing emotion... At all, really.
