After looking for a bit, Jacob finally picked out the board, boots, and bindings he wanted. He tried everything on, making sure the board was the right length, before turning around to see Rose standing there. "No problem! I wanted to get a new board anyways." Jacob smiled, motioning to the things strewn across the ground. "What do you think. Look cool? There are a ton of good features and perks of each of the things, but I won't bore you with the details." He said, laughing lightly and lifting up his right hand to scratch the back of his head nervously.

{Artemisia listened as Andi spoke, and was shocked when she said sorry." What are you saying sorry for? If it's because of your talking, well I'm the wrong person to say that to. I'll talk a mile a minute, and I mean that literally. " Artsie laughed after she said this, thinking of her little kid self and how she had talked like there was no end. Artsie then thought a little more about Andi's words and how she had said that she wasn't talking to anyone unless they came up to talk to her first. " You know, I fell the same way a bit, but then again I don't. See, for some people, they have to start a conversation with me first or they have to be just randomly there -like how you were- for me to say something to them. If they are in this big group and whatnot, then I'll let them just be by themselves a bit and wait until they say something to me, if what I just said makes and sense. "

Andrea nodded while the girl talked, understand perfectly what she had meant. "Yeah, for me it's the same way. Like if you want to talk to me, then you need to start the conversation or there is most likely not a chance we will talk unless I like you enough." She took a breath and continued, "Although it does make some situations awkward, like if both people are the way we are, they could just be standing there together having no idea what to say or do."

{Artsie nodded her head in agreement to what Andrea said. " It would make the situation very awkward. Just a bunch of people like us, not starting conversations or anything, and then just standing there like a bunch of bumbling idiots. " Artsie chuckled, thinking of a bunch of people standing in a room and no one wanting to start a conversation, them all shifting around nervously.

Jacob scoffed. "I'm not gonna let you do that. This whole set is 500 dollars, even when it's 50% off." He smiled, motioning to the equipment on the floor. He put the boots back in their box, as with the bindings, and began walking to the cashier. Before Rose could come and pay, he pulled out his wallet, sliding out his debit card. He handed it to the man behind the counter, and began looking for a stomp pad while the man attached the bindings to the board. When he finally picked out a rubber pad, he walked back over to the counter, setting the package gently down. "Thanks." He said to the cashier when he finished attaching them. He picked up his new board, and slid the stop pad into the boots box. Grabbing his card, he slid it back into place, sticking his wallet in his back pocket.
