ؠ ■ September V. Scott ■ ؠ
September looked casually down at her phone Sounds great. Hope your not going to wear an embarresing hat. She sent the text with a smile on her face. September was a goodie-two-shoes, she had gotten good grades since second grade. She absolutely loves chemestry. It was easy for her and unlike alot of other students, she was amazing at it. September sighed, and looked down at the notes she had written. She quickly turned the page and continued to write.
"You gave me happy m e m o r i e s,
and all I gave you was a b r o k e n heart"
If I were just a bookworm,
then I’d spend my
time on pages
reading all the
printed words
by humorists and
sages. I’d take
my nap upon the
stacks and rest
upon a letter,
and just the
closeness of the
words would
make me feel
much better.
When I’d awake,
wide-eyed,
refreshed with all
the rest I need,
I’d slither off
straight down the
page because
I love to read.
