Hayden-

He smiled, resting his head on his desk. He wasn't staring at Josh, just watching him happily. Mostly because he wanted to.

Athena ~

She didn't enjoy being stared at,but she was getting some looks. Nit her fault they made twisty halls. Not her fault they were dark. She muttered to herself unhappily.

Josh
I continued staring at the paper, doing my best to ignore the teacher. At last, the bell rang, signalling the end of class. I shot a glance at Hayden for a moment before I grabbed my backpack.

[Cap'n Rose]

Hayden-

He packed up his backpack, biting his lip softly as he lifted it to his shoulder. He opened the door for Josh, letting it close gently on their classmates, smiling just a teensy bit. They would be fine.

I glanced up at Hayden again, still smiling a little bit. I couldn't really help it. "Are you buying lunch today?" I asked, looking away again. I still had the piece of paper in my hand.

Hayden-

He shook his head a little. "Nawh. I only have a quick soda or something usually." Hayden gave Josh a small smile, rolling his shoulders as if that would make the backpack more comfortable. "Are you?"

"No," I answered. "Cafeteria food sucks. Anyways, I'm not hungry." I had something in my backpack if I actually did get hungry, but usually I ate that on the way home, if I ate it at all.

Hayden -

He led the way outside ,pushing a door open, thankful when he wasn't yelled at. Who would want to stay in here? He gave Josh a small smile,holding the door open.

Josh
I smiled a little bit at him as I walked outside. I started biting the inside of my cheek, wondering how on Earth I would start saying what I wanted to say. I actually wasn't sure if I should say it.

Hayden-

He found them a spot under some trees. "Would you like to sit down,or...?" Hayden blinked, nervous.

"Yeah," I said quietly. I sat down next to him and pulled my knees up to my chest. I wrapped my arms around my legs and pu my chin on top of my knees. I wasn't really sure how to start. It wasn't exactly the easiest thing to say, and I still wasn't sure Hayden would freak out and tell someone.
