I read what Hayden wrote once, then I looked up at the teacher for a moment before going back to the paper. 'Both, maybe. Dunno. Also didn't know this class was actually going to be boring. I really hope it's better tomorrow." I shot a glance at the teacher for a second before I passed the paper to Hayden.

Hayden -

He wrote back. 'I sure hope so... this is the dumps. And art usually rocks. ' He was careful. But,he felt the teacher's gaze fall on him just as he was pulling away.

I chewed the inside of my cheek as I watched the teacher. I only started writing when the teacher's back was turned to the class. 'I can't wait til lunch. At least it won't be as boring.' I glanced up again, making sure the teacher wasn't looking at me. Then I passed the paper back.

Hayden-

He glanced at the teacher, reading and replying. 'I really hope lunch is more fruitful. I'm pretty sure this teacher is asking us to tango a drawing.' He carefully passed the note back.

I smiled a little bit after I read through it. 'I have no idea what that is. Stupid teacher.' I drew a little smiley face next to that. And a little bit of hair on the smiley face. What else was I going to do? I was bored.

Hayden-

He smiled lobsidedly. 'Precisely. ... Josh...' His pen half dragged, instead of periods. It was unsure, but he gave it to Josh again. He looked thoughtful.

I glanced up at the teacher again before I looked at the paper. I looked at Hayden for a moment after I read it but before I wrote anything. 'Yeah...?' I wrote. I passed t back to him.

He sighed ... staring at the paper without seeing for a moment. He bit his lip. 'Nevermind.... I'd rather ask you later...' He bit his lip,watching Josh quietly.

I glanced at Hayden again. 'Okay,' I wrote on the paper. I didn't really need to write that, but I didn't really care that much. I passed the paper back again.

He smiled faintly. 'Awkward questions that don't belong on paper, y'know? Anyway ...' he drew a little dragon beside his message, handing it back discreetly.
