Unfortunately, thoughts of my dad started to creep back into my head. Except, this time, I didn't picture him doing anything bad to me, or even Andy. It was something... worse. My smile faded pretty quickly after that. I put my arms on my desk and shoved my face on top of them. I didn't want to look at Hayden now, even though I knew it was impossible for him to read my mind.

I walked back to my locker slowly. I didn't want to go to my next period. I had kind of forgotten what it was, anyways, which wasn't a good thing. Whatever. What I really wanted to do right now was sleep.
