Alister weakly tapped the alarm off on his phone. Another day of school. He didn't feel like going to school today, and sometimes he just wouldn't go because of bullying and teasing and getting physically hurt. He always wore sweaters, even in the summer to hide his cuts and bruises from getting hurt by others, or cutting himself. He lazily got up and walked out into the kitchen and got a bowl out of the cupboard then went to the fridge. Then another cupboard for cereal. He took out the box of cinnamon toast crunch. Shaking the box, he heard that there wasn't much in the box. He poured it into the bowl anyway and along with milk. After eating, he got dressed into clean clothes, did his hair and brushed his teeth. He made his way out the door to go to school until he saw one of the kids that teased him walking down the street. He didn't want to be seen so he quietly closed the door and went to the back door and cut through some backyards until he finally found himself at school.

i started to walk out of my house, I was ready for school. I was going to wait outside
the school before i could go inside. I see a boy, he looked a little familiar. So I walked over to him, i
didn't know his name but he looked like a Devin. "Hi, I'm Arielle." i say holding out my hand for a hand-
shake I was afraid that he wouldn't accept it so I often wanted to put my hand down within the few
seconds that it took me to introduce myself.

"We have to go to school soon" is say showing him the time on my watch.

(Wait, I'm confused. What's happening?)

i started to walk out of my house, I was ready for school. I was going to wait outside
the school before i could go inside. I see a boy, he looked a little familiar. So I walked over to him, i
didn't know his name but he looked like a Devin. "Hi, I'm Arielle." i say holding out my hand for a hand-
shake I was afraid that he wouldn't accept it so I often wanted to put my hand down within the few
seconds that it took me to introduce myself.

"We have to go to school soon" is say showing Daniel the time on my watch. "Don't want to be late do you?"I ask him and I look back behind me at the door. I take his arm and start dragging him to the door.

As Alister made it too the school he quickly started to sped walk to inside the school until a voice that was close to him was heard. He stopped and looked at a girl that was basically behind him. He scratched his head wondering why she was talk to him, but obviously she was. But as always, he never would trust anyone that just would come up to him and say their name. "What?.... Why are you talking to me?" He asked quietly. He inched away from her, feeling a pain in his gut telling him to just run before the bullys see him. He looked at her hand that was held out. He didn't shake it.
