I had just moved from Britain. Well, not just, a month ago. Yet I hadn't applied to any schools, so I didn't really know anyone. So, hey, I was a loner at the moment. Honestly, I hated it. All I had was my Mum and Pa. But they weren't even really with me. So it was just me and my instroments.
Yet one day when I was playing my piano, the soft melodies floating through my home, I heard my parents come in, holloring my name. Arching a shaped light brunette brow, I stood up and walked downstairs. "Mum, Pa, what is it?" I questioned the couple gently, walking down the spiral strairway to the front door, where my parents waited for me. Snow was floating in their hair and across their jackets. Worry struck in their dark brown eyes as they looked down at me.
"Love, I'm sorry but we just can't have you home right now... With the house in Britain, and here, and the moving fees... We can't work... I'm so sorry love, but we where told that you can go to a appartment house just nearby." My mothers soft hand softly stroked my cheek, a weak smile on her face.
"Alright... I'll go pack." I said, a struggled smile appear on my lips. I didn't know anyone. My parents where all I had, all I knew. Now I was going to be sent to an appartment, probably with other people living there, and I wouldn't know a soul. Turning, I jogged up the stairs and opened my door. Shutting my eyes, I cleared my head. My parents weren't even their for me that often... why should I be that worried? Why was it that big of a deal? Putting on my big girl face, I walked to my closet and pulled out two large bags and my favorite purse. Filling one bag with makeup, shoes, some small purses, what shirts I could add, and other things. Filling my other bag with scarfs, shirts, jeans, shirts, skirts etc. Struggling a tad to shut it. I took up the two and looked around my room. I still had most my wardrobe here, and I would most likely come back to grab more stuff, but this is what I had for now. Leaving the room, I walked downstairs, not suprisingly finding my parents gone, probably sitting downstairs drinking. "Dim[stupid] people..." I muttered, walking into the garage and putting my luggage in the back of my silver Porshe, but then I remembered, I cant drive in snow. Pulling them out and going to the front door, I opened the front closet. Grabbing a blue trench coat, I tied the bow around my slender waist, placed a fedora on my blonde waves, and walked outside, dragging everything with me.
Plugging my iPhone into my skull candy pink headphones, I cranked up the volume, clicking on my Greenday track. I usually listened to them when I wasn't in the best moods, but hey, the band was pretty good anyways.
Finding my way to the appartments, I stood outside as I got there, letting snow fall on my hat. The complex was cute, and I stepped outside, delicatly making my way to the main office. Politly stomping snow from my boots, I walked inside. Seeing a kind lady up front, I smiled brightly and walked over. "Ello, um, I was looking for a area to stay in for some time?" I asked her, my accent like a sore thumb. Thick, and obvious.
"Oh, of coarse... Apartment 31, but you may have to wait a while. Roughly fifteen to twenty minutes?" The ladies clear coated nails handed me a silver key and I gladly took it. Not wanting to go outside again, I took an empty chair and waited for my room, my eyes floating around the faces in the room.
