HUnter sighed and messed with her insulated cup, full of her drink. Her golden eyes were transfixed on her fingers, fiddling with the paper around it as she spoke. "I don't want things to be completely awkward between us," she began. Although it was, and she was till upset, she decided, the past was the past, and no matter how much he hurt her, she wasn't going to let that come in the way. She could try and be friends again, although she didn't think it would be all the same. ...but I don't know if things could go back to the way you were, like nothing happened. Because, something certainly did happen." she continued. "But, I'm willing to try and forget about it." she said softly, looking up as she spoke, putting on a little smile, although it wasn't entirely forced. It was, just when she looked at him, she remembered all of the good memories, and momentarily forgets about everything else... Maybe this wouldn't be that hard....

Harry sighed and nodded. "I understand." He said holding back the pain. He knew it was worse for her but he felt so much guilt and it was killing him inside. He pushed his chair back and looked up at her. "Friends?" He said holding out a lightly shaking hand. As much as he still loved her he knew that being friends would be the best way to renew that trust they once had even if he still had strong feelings for her.

Hunter relaxed a little as he said he understood... good. Friends. That's exactly what she hoped. Maybe this would help and patch everything up. She was just glad he didn't try and press further than friends. For some reason now, the strong dislike and hurt she had for Harry, since she could never hate him, was already starting to fade a bit.... she returned his smile, and it was genuine. "Friends." She repeated with a nod. Then, she looked at his hand, and nibbled her lip before shaking it. Okay, now this was awkward...

Harry smiled. He then saw her reaction to him holding out his hand and then pulled it back. "Sorry." He said looking down. He just nodded simply with a half smile. It hurt him inside but he knew it was for the better.

" I'm god but I have been better, not to be taken as an insult to you Lou. " she said queitly and gently. She looked to the side at the dance floor where girls who were dancing there were staring daggers at her. She looked back at Louis who gave her a smile and she returned a small one. She looked down at her dress and brushed off some spare glitter that was misplaced. She glanced back up before setting her hand on the table studying the embroidered napkin again.

Hunter blinked and relaxed a bit, sitting back in her chair. With a sp of her hot cocoa, she then spoke. "So, how long are you guys in town for?" she asked curiously. As a friend, she was gonna try and make an effort. She could tell by the look on his face how much she was hurting him now, but, she wasn't ready to be more than friends. And face it, she doesn't know if and when she will.

Harry looked up at her trying not to show that he was hurting. "Um..about a fortnight." He said twirling his his keys. (Sorry at college and have to go now)

Hunter blinked, nibbling her lower lip with a nod. "Oh." was the ever-so-clever response she could come up with. Intelligent, right? She wanted to stay on guard, but she also had the urge to go and do something. LIke, see a movie or something, like they used to. The best friends that grew to more. That's what they used to be. And they never stopped being best friends... until now. Now, they were just friends. But, she was willing to try. "So, do you wanna go catch a movie or something?" she asked curiously with a small smile.

Harry looked up and continued smiling lightly. "Movie sounds great." He replied brushing a hand through his hair. He paid for the drinks and then stood up waiting for her.

Considering Hunter walked here since it was only a few minutes from her house, when it wasn't pouring, she had no way to get to the theatre while it was raining now. Hopefully Harry drove, otherwise they were gonna get drenched. Which frankly, she didn't care all that much. She wasn't in anything really nice. Just casual clothes. Plus, she had no clue what movies were out. There was that new James Bond one, she knew that. Although HUnter didn't seem like the type, she loved action movies. They were exciting!
