Deon looked and sounded emotionless all of a sudden. "And some people you don't reliese till its too late... I thought you had a good relationship with your dad" he said.

Tonia looked at him, "Well, I did when I was younger. Then he saw me fighting in armour and all that and then eveyday after that, he abused me. I've got scars all over my body." She looking at him.

Deon smiled sadly. "Your life was bad compared to mine" he said quietly.

She nodded, "Yea, well, you'd think that a lady would be treated perfectly through life but no. My dad thought I was spending too much time with the men and not enough with the women that he locked me in my room all day and all night. Sometimes, I'd sneak out the window which was on the ground floor and get on Ingrata and hide. To be honest, I think Elena invited me to be kind and to keep me safe from harm." Tonia said wiping tears from her eyes.

Deon quickly walked over, he wrapped Tonia in his arms and gently stroked her hair. "I'm lucky then" he said quietly.

Tonia wrapped her arms around Deon and nodded, "To be honest Deon, everyone here is luckier than I am." She said burying her head into his chest.

Arthur walked Captain upto Zara and then smiled, "Come on then." He galloped out the gates.

Zara whispered to Maria " canter girl" she followed behind Arthur

Arhtur slowed his grey stallion down but the horse didn't want to. Captain kept rushing to the lake and then stopped dead. Arthur managed to stay in the saddle and not fall off.

Deon continued to stroke her hair, he tightened his arms around Tonia a little. "My farther died when I was just a baby, I don't remember him at all. After his death my mother used to go out with men often, hence I have 6 brothers and a sister and she never cared for any of us, fighting with sibling was inevitable so thats how I got so good so young" he said softly. "And if you really want to know why I understand the bond between a farther and daughter, its because i've experienced it"
