Kailey Andrea Gale
Kailey's stomach flipped from nervousness and her hands shook lightly from fear. She was all alone in her small apartment, trying to keep herself calm, she wasn't really looking forward to the ceremony that would come. She brushed out her hair and let it's waves fall down around her shoulders. She hadn't made up her mind yet about what to wear. While in the middle of looked through her clothes, she had to sit down on her bed and stopped for a minute. Was there really no way out of this? She hadn't been in the town for last years ceremony but she had read about it and didn't like what she read.
Kailey got up again and continued with getting ready. She picked a plain, dark red dress that had been bought by her aunt only last year. She undressed and slipped into it then looked at herself in the mirror, she was pale. She quickly turned away and called her dog with his name. Trix picked himself up from by the front door and padded through the apartment to where Kailey was. Kailey bent down to run her hands through the dog's soft, long fur. It seemed to be the only comforting thing she could find.
Caspar Blake Kassidy
Caspar tiredly pulled himself out of the bed he'd stayed in all morning. He'd slept in and had only now woken up. He honestly didn't know what to think about what was happening that day. He didn't believe it was right to enforce a law like that, but he hadn't had any good reasons to entirely hate it. He ran a hand through his hair and walked over to his small closet where he got a pair of dark jeans and a white T-shirt. If it was a normal day, he'd most likely wear a hoodie, but he thought that not suitable. He had never thought that at seventeen he'd have a fiancee. Caspar wandered into the really small kitchen thinking he was hungry, but at the sight of the food, he'd decided he really couldn't eat it, so he grabbed his phone and dialled a number, the phone ringed once but then went silent. Ever since getting there from Germany, he'd tried to call out but it was always cut off. He started muttering different english words to himself, practicing them as best her could.
