I walked behind him, looking at the house and familiarizing with it as we went. At some point, depending on how things go, we'd have to get a place. I bit my lip, thinking of my savings. Well, they're not enough, but a start is a start.

I fallowed him to my new room. It's colors were similar to the ones I had before, so I found the room pretty comfortable. Of course, now I have to unpack my things. "Thank you," I told Jay. "I really like it."

"I'm glad you do, and it's no problem," I replied with a smile. "I'll leave you to pack and get familiarized. Feel free to check out the house if you want. I can show you around once you're done packing, if you want."

"Alright." I said, placing down my box on the bed. I looked around, deciding were to leave these first.

After the pictures were taken, he gestured her off the stage; wondering what to do next. 'So.. I guess we'll need to get a house situated...'' He scratched the back of his neck, biting his lip softly; but looked around. 'Do you have any preference to whom's house we should live in..?'

"Have fun," I said with a half-smile as I strolled out of the room and towards mine. I felt kind of bad that she had to be uprooted from her home and family, all in one day.

I looked around after he left before throwing myself on the bed, clutching a pillow tightly. What would be of me? Now I was on my own.

Gathering my things, I started hanging my clothes and organizing my stuff, and ending up with placing my gran's picture of she and me together from when I was 5. I smiled. I wish I could be that little girl again.

My room was quite a bit different than the guest room, or Becca's room. The walls were dark navy blue and the wood flooring was much darker. The bed was twin sized and had a solid-color greyish-blue bedspread. There was a dresser, a closet, and a desk that had a laptop on it. The room was pretty clean, though there were a few crumpled shirts hanging on a chair. I sat down on the bed, staring at the ceiling. This had certainly been an eventful day...

I looked around, sitting in my bed. What could I do now? Sighing, I stood up and picked up a piece of paper, starting to write a new fairy tale from scratch. I had tried this a few times, but now it seemed that maybe somewhere else tan home I could make my best since I was not worried my mother would come in.
