Violet nodded and sat back down on the bed. She stared, lost in thought, at the floor for a few minutes. Then she laid down and closed her eyes.

lara tilted her head and laughed"i will sing if you sing, how about that?"

danny following in the shadows,not making a sound dispite his large frame.

Xavier laughed, "Fine but you will have to do most of the singing." He said.

Esabelle tied her horse outside the tavern and walked inside, exuding power and grace in her every step. A trio of evil-looking men sat wordlessly around a table, watching her with beady eyes. She shivered but walked up to the innkeeper to retreive her key. She turned to walk up the stairs to the rooms, making sure to not look at the thugs. Her efforts were in vain, however, as they got up and started to follow her up the stairs.

Uh oh. she thought, thinking quickly. One she could handle, two she'd escape with a few bruises and maybe a broken bone or two, but three huge men was out of her league.

"Uhhh, hi?" she offered as their eyes darkened. One of the men grabbed her wrists and held her down, grinning like a madman. Esabelle tilted her head back to scream, but after a few seconds the second thug clamped his hand over her mouth to cut off the noise. She bit down, earning her a smack abside the head.

"Help, someone.." she whispered, struggling weakly.

arick walked up the stairs following the men and ez,he seen them go up there and narrowed hsi eyes. he walked over, and took a fire picker and whacked the mans arm off esabelle "think twice," his eyes darkened so evilly,darkly,and cruelly it would make a demon think twice before touching her. "my girl." hiss voice carrying venomous sting.

Jaden: he laid down, closing his eyes. It was obvious he had failed. He wasn't entirely ready to give up yet, but he needed to regain everyone ounce of his strength before trying anything. So he closed his eyes in deep thought as he fell asleep.

Violet awoke in the early morning, not more than a few minutes after dawn. She got up with a glance at the still-sleeping Jaden and went outside to check on the horses. The she came back in, grabbed a cloak, which she put on, and a basket, and headed outside. She came back about ten minutes later with the basket full of berries and fruit she had gathered from the trees and berry bushes in the forest. She took off her cape and quietly began making breakfast.

Esabelle smiled weakly as Arick came to her rescue.

"My hero." she said, getting shakily to her feet. She gave the three thugs a look that could kill.

"You heard him. Beat it." she said coldly, narrowing her blue eyes. When the thugs left she turned to Arick, a gentleness in her voice that hadn't been there before.

"You saved me." she said, smiling like a little kid.
