lara shrugged "he was kind..but stern..after the wound healed he started to teach me how to fight...i never under stood him..i never tried. "

"I dont understand, im greatful for you telling me this but why?" Xaveir turned to face her. "Why tell me this when you barely know me?"

lara looked at him "because, other then the man that took me in, your the only other person i felt i could trust...i can act like i trust someone, but that doesn't mean i do. but it isnt that way with you,even being the way i am not wanting to rely on anyone, you make me feel safe."

Xaveir's eyebrows shot up and he smiled at her, "I...make you feel safe?" He shook his head and pushed his hair out of the way. "Well, thank you." He rubbed his shoulder and ducked under the water and came up next to her. "Thank you, you make me feel protective of you. Not even my sister could get that out of me." He stared at the water.

lara scoffed "so i make your protective? i don't make you feel safe?" she shook her head and looked at him. she leaned over and kissed cheek "you just can't pick the right words,can you?"

"Nope." Xaveir gripped the bank and dragged himself out. Shaking his hair water flung was flung around. He smiled at her and grabbing his shirt walked back to the cabin, "You know where to find me." he called over his shoulder.
