When All Is Lost [Post-Apocalyptic World RP]

Alex walked along the outskirts of town. He was working, looking for any trouble or anything that wasn't supposed to be happening. So far it had been pretty uneventful; he hadn't seen anything unusual at all. Alex's blue eyes flickered around, taking in his surroundings, him taking small, even steps.

[Missing-One]

Dustin nodded, shaking his hand before retracting his arm. He wiped his palms off on his shirt before putting them back in his pockets. "Nice to meet you, Asher." He nodded. "Im guessing you're new here, then?" He assumed, arching an eyebrow. "You don't exactly look like you live here."

Maddie nodded. "Mhm, yeah." She kicked another stone, sending it a few feet forward. "I don't exactly understand what Kaylin here sees in hunting, though." She glanced over at the girl following them. "Hunting is so boring. It's the same thing every day. But I don't think she's got what it takes to be a raider, though." Her lips twitched up in a smirk again as she gave the other girl a good natured punch to the shoulder.

Zander raised an eyebrow, wondering if she was all there. "Uhuh... Alright then. Im going to be a fisherman, I guess. Lame right?" He flashed another grin. "I personally like cross bows. Easier to use, but yeash, it can get boring sometimes, but imagine seeing a moose. Those things are hug!" He looked forward again, entering the denser forest. "Maddie, know of any old ruins? Megan likes those."

Megan had begun walking again, much to Mikes distress. "Why go further? The plane was perfectly fine." He had to jog to keep up. Megan continued walking as fast as possible. "Yeah, it was cool. I want to see an old town though, ive barely been out, and even then I was with other people. Before the war, towns covered this land. we cant be too far from one." She wiped a peice of hair from her face, speeding onward.


David walked up the steps and into the town hall, dropping the paper on a desk.

[-Kaylin-]

Kaylin smirked, "You're just mad because you can't aim." She nudged her friend lightly. "And I could be a raider if I wanted to." She added, pushing another piece of hair out of her face. She yawned and turned to Maddie. "I'm hungry."

[Missing-One]

The brunette nodded again. "Mhm, lots." She confirmed. "There's an old school not too far from here. You'd have to sneak out to get there, though. I'm pretty sure it's out of bounds, but I don't think that'd be a problem for Megan, seeing as we're looking for her now." She looked back to Kaylin and shook her head in disagreement. "Nope. No jealousy here. You don't have what it takes to be a raider, Kaylin. Simple as that. End of story."

Looking away again, she looked forward and caught sight of a slight disturbance out of the corner of her eye. She paused in her steps, listening. She made out the distinct sound of footsteps and cursed. Kids weren't exactly suppose to be out in the forests, especially unattended. If they were caught, that could potentially be very bad.

Kaylin rolled her eyes, "Whatever you s-" She paused as she heard footsteps, turning around. She moved back a bit. We were not supposed to be outside in the woods, since we were unattended.

[Valleh]

Asher frowned, trying to keep himself from being overly cautious. He had to act natural, especially if he wanted to stay here. He nodded to answer Dustin's question. He certainly wasn't from around here, nor anywhere near here.

Chiffon wiped her hands on her apron and examined her work. She had just finished cutting all of the vegetables in the kitchen preparing soup for today's and probably all of next week's lunch. With this feat out of the way, she moved on to preparing the broth, taste-testing the liquid that was softly bubbling in the pot on the stove. She leaned back; something wasn't right. "Thyme. Yes. More thyme." she mumbled to herself as she reached for the thyme in the cabinet, only to pull out a small empty jar. She sighed. "I'll have to get more."

[Missing-One]

Dustin frowned. Obviously, the kid wasn't too keen on talking. "Uh, alright..." He stood up straight, shifting his weight awkwardly. "Where did you come from, Asher?" His eyes flickered back down to the boy as he ran a hand through his mouse-brown hair.

[Valleh]

Asher froze up. Where did he come from.. Asher hadn't wanted anything to connect him to where he used to live. He wanted to leave it in the past, with all of the things that were much better forgotten. But if he didn't want to tell the truth, then he'd have to lie, and Asher never had been a good liar. He sighed in defeat. "Georgia."
