Kaylin shook her head. "Nope, I haven't. And who is this?" She pointed to the guy sitting on the ground. She turned to Maddie for an answer. Looking up at the sky, she wondered where Megan and Mike could have gone.

He swore, running his hand through his already messy hair. "I'm Zander," He looked at Maddie, then at Kaylin, switching back and forth. "Can you help me look?" He grinned hopefully. "i'll owe you?"

Full Name: Asher Harten
Gender: male
Age: 15 years old
Origin: Georgia
Rank: Too young for a rank and has no idea what he wants to be.
Relationships: Currently does not have any. He's the new boy in town.
Other: Asher is the quiet type, but doesn't consider himself to be. He minds his own business and doesn't say anything other than what's necessary. He's not very good at expressing himself, so maintaining a relationship with him can be tough.
History: Back in Georgia, his father was an alcoholic who beat Asher and his mother. Last winter, his mother died from leukemia. It took Asher almost a year to gather the courage to run away from home. Soon after, he joined a group of people that were travelling north, and somehow found his way to Parthia.
Appearance: Shaggy dark brown hair that covers his eyes. Which are hazel by the way. He's a medium height, around 5'6", and is slender but muscular. He usually wears a red long sleeved shirt and jeans.

Relationships: Knows everyone in the city; only has a father
Other: Chiffon is very friendly, and is on good terms with everyone. She watches over the orphaned children mostly, but also makes sure that everyone sleeps under a roof and has food in their stomach. Like a mother hen.
History: Chiffon's mother died when she was very young, and her father has taken care of her ever since. I guess you could say she's a daddy's girl. Because there wasn't a mother around to take care of the cleaning and cooking, she learned at a young age and has applied it to everyone around her.
Appearance: Has a fair complexion, with light blonde hair, and blue-grey eyes. She looks like her mother. She is fairly tall at 5'9", and has a slender build.

Maddie heaved a sigh, glancing at the town hall. She squinted through her glasses, adjusting them to see the numbers on the big clock. "I don't know... I think I have better things to be doing." She pursed her lips, looking back to Zander. "Like not doing your job." She pushed her hair behind her ear and chuckled, shaking her head like it was hilarious. It was something she did often, laugh at her own jokes. Even when they weren't funny in the least.

Zander sighed, putting his hands back in his pockets. "Fine..."

Origin: Alex was born in Parthia.

Relationships: Alex doesn't have any children, a wife, or a girlfriend. His father died in the war, which he tries not to be bitter about. His mother doesn't live too far away, but in a town too far away for regular visits, along with his younger brother and sister. Alex hasn't seen them in a while, since he last visited.
Other: Alex is rather cautious and quiet. He's usually peaceful and soothing, not saying too much or losing his temper. Though, when Alex gets nervously excited, he tends to be more loquacious. He rambles on, too quickly, while his mind wanders off. When he gets excited and feels seriously threatened, he becomes more fierce and violet. Alex acts a bit more impulsively and recklessly at these times.
History: Alex was born in Parthia. When he was a young child his family moved to a smaller, less successful town. He lived there until his father died. At that point, Alex came back to Parthia on his own, only a couple of years ago.
Appearance: Alex is tall, standing at about an inch away from 6 feet. He's lean, slightly muscled. The boy has messy, dark hair that's just a bit too long for his liking. He has blue eyes that are more of a hazel color around the centers. His smile is a bright white, but his teeth are bit crooked, giving his smile a childish look. Alex wears whatever he has and it depends on the weather. He wears lighter clothes in hotter weather, such as shorts and t-shirts, and in colder weather he'll wear pants and jeans along with long sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets. Most of clothes are a bit worn out, have a rip or tear, but for the most part are decent.

Relationships: Minela is mother to Thayer and Aldabella Bearre.
Other: Minela is a kind and loving mother who likes to help others and see others happy. She is responsible and respectable.
History: Minela was born in a small town in Iowa. As a young adult, she married the boy she loved, who she knew her whole life. The couple moved to Parthia and had children. Minela's husband died after drinking water that turned out to be tainted and she remained in Parthia with their two children.
Appearance: Minela is a petite woman with long, wavy light brown hair that is usually pulled back messily. She has warm brown eyes and a kind smile.

Age: 15
Origin: Parthia
Rank: Thayer is too young to have a job, but he's hoping to be a guard or raider, but more secretly thinks about becoming a doctor.
Relationships: Thayer's mother is Minela and his sister is Aldabella.
Other: Thayer is a bit of a rebellious boy who loves to smile. Like his mother, he likes it when others are happy and himself is happier when he feels useful and helpful. Thayer is a complete "mama's boy". He loves her to bits and will do nearly anything for her.
History: Thayer was born in Parthia and his father died when he was 3.
Appearance: Thayer is 5 feet and 7 inches and weighs as much as he should. He has light brown hair, that is soft and wispy. He wears it at an appropriate length that suits him. He has dark, sweet, chocolate brown eyes.

Age: 12
Origin: Parthia
Rank: Aldabella is too young for a job, though she thinks about it and often imagines what each job would be like.
Relationships: Aldabella's mother is Minela and her brother is Thayer.
Other: Aldabella is a sweet girl who loves to hang around with the older kids. She's mature for her age, but she's loose and silly. Aldabella thrives off of love, appreciation, and acceptance from others.
History: Aldabella was born in Parthia and he father died when she was young. She doesn't remember him at all and has only met him once before she died, but she loves him very much and has a very good idea of who he was.
Appearance: Aldabella is about 5 feet and 2 inches tall. She is a bit thicker and probably weighs a good 10 pounds more than most of the girls her age and height. Her hair is light and wispy, a golden blonde color that shines like her fathers. She blue-green eyes that are a bit hazel around the center.

Maddie frowned. She pushed her glasses up, the sun reflecting off the wire rim for a moment and flashing into Zander's eyes. "I was joking." She shrugged her shoulders and crossed her arms. "I don't actually have anything better to do. There's hardly ever anything to do around here." She let out a breath, shaking her head. "The raiders have already left, and that's the only fun thing."

Asher felt uneasy as he passed by the "Welcome to Parthia" sign, which, let's be honest, looked like it had seen better days. Scratching the back of his head, he wandered into the city. On the streets inside, he avoided eye contact and tried not to look suspicious. It had been a while since he'd last been in a place as populated as this, and it made him nervous. He could never be too wary of the people around him.

By this time David really was walking into town, his metal boots clacking on the wooden decks. He whistled an oddly familiar tune as he went, not seeming to be worried at all. Zander, on the other hand, visibly paled. He slowly turned. "Ohh..... Noooo...." He muttered, looking as if he was looking at death itself. Which he might as well be. "Can we go then? Now?" he seemed a bit horrified.

While all this was happening, Megan had settled into a large thing her father called a "plane", they flew like birds at one point in time. She saw it in a book. She walked along the rows, rubbing her hand on the old chairs. She pulled at the strange oxygen masks, whirling around in circles. Bones lay under the seats, having long since decayed, she tried her best to avoid them. She heard a tap from above, to which she replied with three taps.
