Rain stood on the edge of the lake's dock. The sun covered her in it's golden rays. Warming her. This was home. This is home. She kept telling herself those words. Hoping that they would become true at same point. She wanted to see the world, taste all it had to offer and make new memories but in stead of that, she was here. Her dress flapped as a sudden gust of wind whipped past her. It caught her off guard and made her stumble forward. She stopped just before the edge and laughed. "That would have been funny."
