Personality;; A person easily described as "casual" and "adventurous." He honestly treats life as if it's a past time thing; doesn't take anything seriously. As if everything's a big joke. "Immature," you say? Well, I can't lie to you. Compared to others, Dominic is quite immature. He seeks the fun in everything. Sneaking out of school, cutting classes, cracking immature jokes, persistent teasing -- those are just some examples of what Dominic likes to do. What did I say again? Oh, yes, he just wants to have fun. Boring things, such as school, never catch his attention very well. That might explain why he's in the C-range for school. Barely passing his classes sometimes and doing extra credit stuff last minute in order to pass the cursed class. He has a short attention span and is easily distracted, which probably explains why he doesn't take much interest in serious, long term relationships. In fact, he tends to shy away from such ideals. It's a bit frightening to know that you're bound to that person. That the other's heart is in your hands and with one wrong move, you could easily smash the other's delicate being. Scary. To Dominic, at least, which is why he doesn't trouble himself with "romance." Sure, there were (and are) some people that take interest in Dominic, but I must warn you that he'll most likely never return the feeling. At least, never acknowledge/admit it to anybody. You see, he's the type to unintentionally offend or anger someone with his clumsy words. Words that are not skillfully (or even adequately) crafted. It's hard for him to express his feelings in the right way, because he usually ends up offending the other. He's someone that can be described as a "selfish, immature jerk." And not exactly the romantic, either. He's not the type of guy you can imagine humming "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars, simply because he's definitely not romantic. Rocks are more romantic than him, I tell you. If his partner, or anybody, comes up to him with a problem or complaint, then the most popular reply would be, "I don't care." A little rude, I admit, but Dominic most of the times really doesn't care. He's a egoistic, selfish, immature, and a bunch of other negative words.

You must be thinking that there must be a better, hidden side to him. And you're kind of right. No, he's still egoistic, selfish, and immature, but he does have a sense of regret and sympathy. Of course, he doesn't show it, as it would tarnish his image as the school's bad boy. "Selfish, rude, uncaring, rebellious, and a heart breaker." An image that many do not want, but one that Dominic finds amusing. Still, he feels regret sometimes after committing brash, mindless actions that injure someone either physically or mentally. Or saying something overly rude and seriously offending someone. The second example doesn't apply to you if you're someone that Dominic shows public dislike for, but he feels regret and sympathy for anyone who suffers the first example. He's got this bad habit of doing things before thinking them through -- not weighing the pros and cons -- and suffers the consequences. Something that he very well deserves, I suppose. Dominic isn't exactly known for his determination, but that trait's there. Once his mind is set on doing something, deterring him will be one heck of a chore. It's not easy, I tell you. His life is somewhat troublesome, with being the first son of a teen mom. At his first school, the kids who found out gave Dominic trouble for it. Therefore, he's grown a thick skin to insults and is not easily offended.

His one secret? That he's what one would call a "band geek." It's a guilty pleasure, one that one of his status should not dabble in, but one that he finds great peace in. So he keeps it a secret that he's musically able, hiding his skill and purposefully messing up his playing when requested to play. The only people that are aware of this secret is his family. He's quite defensive of this secret and will quickly flame you if you ever threaten anything relating to his guilty pleasure.
Likes;; "There are plenty of things I enjoy in life. For one, I really love rollercoasters. Anything that's exciting and feeds my need of adventure is fine and dandy in my book. Amusement parks, hikes, skydiving...Actually, I haven't gone skydiving, but I would love to. Sports and fun things that get your adrenaline pumping, basically. Putting that aside, my strangest obsession is milk tea. It's a little bit embarrassing to admit it, but I have a huge love for milk tea. Therefore, I'm critical of what kind I receive. And if you couldn't already tell, as if it's not obvious enough, I have an absolute love for music. Any type of genres (yes, even classical) and by any type of instruments. Erm, what else? I like sleeping, eating, and being lazy. Does that count?"
Dislikes;; "This list could go on forever, so as to save both of our time, I'll shorten it up. First of all, I dislike prudent people. Boring, colorless, uptight people get on my nerves, though it's always fun to rile them up. Fine, I couldn't care less if you disliked me, but is there a need to bark at me at every little thing I do? Ha, perhaps you have nothing better to do? Studying and school must go on this list, simply because I hate both. Both are a waste of my time and I find myself drifting off in class more so than actually concentrating on the concepts. Now, I know I'm not much of a role model myself, but the type of people I dislike are clingy, romantic, sensitive, and spoiled people. Just...self-explanatory there. Liars go on my list, too, because who likes liars?"
Fear(s);; "I don't have any fears, so **** off. What, you don't believe me? Of course you don't. My fears are quite mild; nothing serious. Due to my past (or, rather my parent's past) I have a fear that those that closest to me will try to leave. The words "I love you" are nearly impossible for me to pronounce, because those words are actually pretty powerful. Most people would say that I have a fear of love, or that my loved ones will leave. My more petty fears are clowns, insects, great heights, airplanes, and boats."
Talent(s);; "Hey, a part where I can brag! Ever since I was six, I took a particular interest in instruments. It seemed so cool, at the time, to learn one. My mother never had the money to buy, or even rent, an instrument, much less send me to lessons, so my friend's father taught me. I still remember his name, Calvin, whose father was a music teacher at the local high school. The first instrument I learned was the B-flat clarinet. After three years of learning and excelling, I switched over to the alto saxophone -- an easy switch, since both are reed instruments. Again, three years later, I picked up a flute and struggled with that. Honestly, it was the hardest instrument I've ever learned. Did you know how long it took me to make a sound? Anyway, I joined the after-school band when I was ten with my trusty clarinet and quickly acquired even more skills. My teacher, Mister Hale, allowed me to switch off of the flute and onto the trumpet. The instrument's still a little difficult for me, but I still enjoy it, nevertheless."

Family;; "Jeez, aren't you progressing quickly? Biologically, my father is Eli Reed, but I've never considered him a father in any way, shape, or form, because he left my mother, returned, and then left again. Heck, I don't even know where he is! My mother is Patricia Riley, who married Austin Burnes when I was seven. They have a daughter, my half-sister, who's younger than me by eight years. Her name is legally Evelyn, but I call her 'Eve' or 'Eva' most of the times."
Known relatives;; "My mom doesn't allow me to meet any of her family members because they all resent both me and her, I suppose, but I know of some important relatives. Aunt Audrey, cousin Elton, and parents Anastasia and Cooper. Others are people that my mom doesn't tell me about, for some reason."

History;; As mentioned, Patricia Riley gave birth to Dominic in a restroom at the mere age of sixteen. She had been expelled from her family after her parents discovered her pregnancy, and had been living in a friend's home. But she had already faced disappointment weeks before her expulsion of the Riley family. The first person she told of her pregnancy was her boyfriend, Eli, and he immediately denied that the baby was his. He cut off communication with Patricia and told her to never talk to him again. "You must've been cheating on me," he had said angrily, "because it isn't mine." The days prior to Dominic's sudden birth was calm. It was only unfortunate that she decided that she wanted a good book when her water broke and pain gripped her tightly. Her birth wasn't overly public, strangely enough. Probably because the employees blocked off the bathroom and assisted in her birth. Dominic wasn't a special baby. He was of average height and weight; nothing special. After Dominic was born, Patricia was lost. What was she supposed to do? Raise him? Put him up for adoption? For months, she cared for little Dominic, running into plenty of money trouble. Her friend was starting to grow tired of Patricia's constant need of money and the wailing of Dominic. It wasn't surprising when that friend calmly suggested that Patricia go elsewhere. Finding nowhere else to go, Patricia begged Eli to let her stay at his home. She wouldn't do anything, she had promised. All she needed was a place to stay and care for Dominic. Grudgingly, Eli allowed her to stay at his home. Eli's parents adored Patricia and little Dominic, of course, and coddled the baby.

Fast forward several years. Patricia finally graduated high school (barely, I may add) and got herself into a local community college. Dominic was two years old by then and was cared for by Eli's parents. Eli had moved out of state to attend some university there, leaving Dominic and the parents to their own devices. Patricia found it extremely difficult and troublesome to juggle a baby, school, and numerous jobs without dropping balls, but managed to scrape by. When Patricia turned twenty, she thanked the Eli's parents profusely for their help. Taking care of a baby is a thankless job, of course. She took Dominic, packed her things, and left the household to move into a small, cheap apartment across town. There, she met another man by the name of Austin. This man, Austin Burnes, was extremely kind and fatherly in nature. The two grew close, even to the point where Patricia trusted the other enough to watch over Dominic. Everything seemed to have settled, right then and there, but Eli showed up at Patricia's doorstep one night, cold and regretful, as he begged for her to take him back. Patricia was always a soft, forgivable woman, and let him back into her heart. Dominic, of course, didn't have a say. He was two, for goodness's sake!

The family was full and Eli stayed with them for five years. When Dominic turned seven, Eli got into some sort of heated argument with Patricia, packed his things, and whispered, "I love you," to Dominic. Then...he just left. Just like that. And that, my friend, is how Dominic's fear of love started. He trusted Eli for those years, but he went on ahead and left, anyway. And for unknown reasons.

That same year, Patricia married Austin, who was her best friend at the time, and the two had a daughter named Evelyn Burnes.

Those relationships were broken from the other person, claiming that I didn't seem "into" it at all. That I seemed void of love and that the whole thing was a waste of both our times. They were right. I guess love is impossible for me. It's difficult to find a partner, especially a female, who shares the same traits as I do. Recently, I've broken up with this one girl. She was just another girl to me -- a distraction. Someone who was supposed to take stress off of my shoulders. But somewhere in our relationship, I started feeling strange around her. I know how to act around people, okay? So it's not that socially-awkward kind of weird. I didn't like the feeling, though. It made me feel vulnerable, weak, so I broke up with her. Happiest day of my life, I must add. Anyway, her name is Harley."
Type;; What I looks for most in a relationship? Freedom. Funny, since couples are not allowed such things like clubbing, excessively hanging out with friends, etc. But I, for one, want a partner who will allow me to run on an extremely long, loosely-held leash. Not a girl who calls me every five minutes, asking for my whereabouts and begging me to come home. No, he or she cannot be one of those clingy people who love to hang around their partner's arms/shoulders, because I absolutely cannot stand public displays of affection. Not a romantic, you see. Never the type to invite my partner to a romantic, magical picnic underneath the bright full moon. I also want some excitement in a relationship, too. There's nothing worse than a boring relationship that one feels trapped in, right? Basically, the kind where you are more accurately described as "best friends" than a couple. Some people would describe what I want as a "casual relationship."
