"Slept." Terrance answered almost too quickly as if he knew that was what Jayden was going to ask. He didnt turn to face him as he put the things away and then began cooking. Turning the stove on and searching for pans. Tonight seemed like the perfect time for sphagetti. He sighed putting the noodles into the pan and waiting for them to boil. He kept his head down hoping Jayden wouldnt realize he was hiding something.

"Oh." He blinked at the quick reply, turning his eyes on the cat and instantly put a smile on his face when the cat rubbed it's face to Jayden's cheek. "Well you answered the door pretty fast for someone who was asleep," he said jokingly but meant it. He turned his eyes back on Terrance, watching him stand there. You didn't sleep, did you. He jumped feeling Luke's muzzle come up under his hand. He amusingly pet the dog for a few moments then returned to petting the cat before turning back to Terrance. "You know, I never liked dogs," he stated randomly, trying to start a conversation. Or just end the silence.

"I see." He answered quickly in a depressed tone as he starred down at the pot he was stirring. He took in a deep breath and smiled as he finally got his thoughts together. He pulled out a large bowl and drained the water. He let it sit for a moment as he began to set the table. "why dont you play with your friends while I finish up, we can eat later. I have some things--- some phone calls to make as well." He smiled to him. Does my smile look fake? It feels fake? No, no I think Im doing an okay job. He sighed but was still smiling. "Alright?" He waited on a reply.

No you don't, he thought, suddenly breathing in deeply as if he forgot to breathe. He blinked at the suggestion, sitting straighter with his eyes on Terrance. He tilted his head as he tried to think. Oh, who? he wanted to ask but couldn't. "Alright," he smiled, nodding his head shortly in agreement before crawling off the couch to the TV, Luke by his side as he sat on his knees to start the xbox and webcam. He scooted back to the couch, but stayed on the floor with his back against it and his legs bent up but not all the way to his chest, having the black dog sitting at his side. He slipped on the headphones and turned on the controller, glancing at Terrance for a moment before returning to the game, being greeted by his friends. But he decided he'd just talk and listen instead of play games.

I'm Sorry Jayden, but this secreacy is for your own good. He chuckled watching the boy. He heard his phone ring and he picked it up quickly. "Hello? Yes, yes Im here. Where would I go?" His voice dropped down to a whisper. "Why did I leave so fast?" He repeated his question. "I couldnt stay forever. I had to return to my boyfriend. No, of course. No. Im telling the truth. I thought you knew I was into men. Can I call you back? Im in the process of making dinner for him. Who do I love? It's none of your business." He laughed gently. "What do you mean. Look, I will get him the money... dont worry about it." He muttered under his breath.

Jayden blinked hearing the phone ring, but he thought he'd better ignore it and just listen to the people talking over the headphones. He could hear Terrance until his voice went to a whisper. He watched him silently, though heard nothing. Only seeing his lips move slightly as he talked quietly. He sighed, shaking his head with a smile then turned back to the game. What're you looking at? he heard one of the people ask. "Hmm? Just watching Terrance." Why? "Because I can?" he retorted, forgetting about Terrance's conversation as he went back and forth with talking to his friend.

"Hey Dennis, I'll call you back after dinner." He told him hanging up before the man could protest. He sighed out with a smile as he looked at the dinner preperations and then over to Jayden. Watching him convey in conversation and he seemed relaxed and at ease with it. It definetly would be too much for him. He thought as he starred at the boy. He sat down in his chair and waited for the boy to finish talking. Waiting paitently for their was truly no need to rush. No need to rush through life at least through Terrance's eyes, and expescially when he was with Jayden.

Why? What was he doing? "Talking." Were you snooping? "No, but you are." Does he live with you? "Of course?" What do you mean? "What do you mean? You know, you keep getting more nosy every month." Jayden sighed irritably, ignoring the rest of the people continuing to talk to him when he saw out of the corner of his eye Terrance move. He turned his head to face him. Mm, I bet it's weird not knowing what the whole conversation is, he thought as he took off his headphones. "That was fast. Or was I just talking for a long time?" he tilted his head as he asked, setting down the controller and pushing himself off the floor to make his way to the table, he himself sitting down. Who'd you talk to? What'd they say? "Friends are annoying," he stated with a smile as he stared at Terrance.

"Mm, I disagree. They make life interesting and make conversations enjoyable." He stated as he starred at him from across the table. "What are your friend's names. Im not sure you told me. Do you know them in person or you just picked them up randomly online?" He asked curiously as he leaned his arms on the table and looked at him intently. "Thank you for letting me stay here. It is very convinent and I enjoy spending time with you like this." He commented in a well behaved manner.

Jayden listened, going to speak each time Terrance asked him something but decided to wait until he knew he was done talking for him to reply. He smiled, his arms crossed as he thought about what Terrance said. "No problem, it's very...delectable. Not my friends tho, they just seemed like it because you were there." he smiled. "And, their names?" he blinked as he thought. "The nosy one who always asks me stuff is Noah. The quiet one Ethan. And the loud one who always shouts at everyone when someone wins is Jack, he lives in the next room over. I don't remember how I know the other two, but I've met them before. I'm not sure about the girls' names, they don't stop talking long enough for anyone to ask," he joked, tilting his head as he kept his eyes on Terrance. Adding a soft grin he said "Mm, you're going to get your own list next time. Have you any idea how many weird people there are here? Probably not... But there's alot." he shrugged, staring at the ground next to him as the cat came rubbing against his leg.
