[ florence | sixteen | the 'I don't care' one ]
"Yes, your opinion matters. Just not to me."
Name: Florence Green.
"I wasn't aware that it really mattered any more. Florence."
Meaning of name: Florence means prosperous, which means wealthy.
"Okay, this really doesn't matter. How should I know?."
Nicknames: If you're close to her, Flo.
"Just Florence, thanks."
Age: Sixteen.
"Sixteen years old. I'm supposed to be going to parties, not freaking fighting for my life."
Gender: Female.
"Girl, and no, you may not check."
Personality: Florence is very laid back. She doesn't care about anything, she'll let a murderer stay in her territory if they had food, and she'd rather spend the whole day sleeping rather than worrying about what's going to happen to her. She's also very sarcastic, and, honestly, people wonder if she's ever actually serious about anything. She's very inexperienced when it comes to staying alive, her brother, who was in Scouts for a while, had to teach her how to stay warm and how to kill rabbits, which is all she lives on when food is scarce. Honest. She's very loud, even now, she forgets herself and sings loudly when she's bored, which often attracts unwanted attention. She's also vain, she keeps a hand mirror in her backpack and checks to make sure her hair is in place all the time. She can be described as uncaring, which is very true. Possibly the only thing she cares about any more is her brother and her own life. She has a soft spot for cute, fluffy animals, which is probably why she's more trusting of the wild dogs than anyone else is.
"Hahahah, that's a good question. No. Comment."
History: Florence's early life was comfortable; she had two parents; David and Cassia; who loved her and an older brother- Sam- who meant the world to her. She was very much a party girl. Florence's mother died from the illness when it was first released and she honestly has no idea where her dad is. She assumes he's dead or one of the people rioting. When her mother died and her father went AWOL, her older brother and her travelled for a while before they both settled into a run-down town, though they're about a twenty minutes walk from each other. She left her boyfriend and friends behind.
"Both parents are dead. Grew up in Edinburgh. My brother means the world to me. We don't speak much, he just checks in, sees if I'm still alive, still eating. I had a comfortable childhood, my parent's jobs were okay, I guess. My childhood ended way too early."
Territory&Supplies: Florence stays in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. The house is beside several wide rolling fields, where dogs and rabbits roam. Her brother lives near a stream, where she goes to get water every other day. She carries a hunting knife around with her at all times, she keeps it on her belt which is wrapped three times around her skinny figure, though she has no idea how to use it. She believes her place is safe, though she has a bag of supplies packed if she ever has to leave in a hurry. The bag contains rope, five tinned cans of food that she took from her old home and a change of clothes.
"Oh, you know, a palace, butlers, a never ending supply of weapons and my very own prince. I wish."
Orientation: Heterosexual.
"And we're back to the unimportant questions. Straight."
Boyfriend?: She left her boyfriend behind in Edinburgh, and it's still a very sore topic for her, since she loved him a lot.
"Okay, that's enough, would you mind passing me that knife? I've been waiting for someone to use for target practise."
What about a crush?: None.
"Well, you know, there is a really cute tree that I've been having my eye on... I stay in the middle of nowhere, moron. Leave. Now."
